It’s easy to determine your self worth from the feedback loop of thought,
In all the extremes,
Of course life cannot be measured in such fixed human terms but loose simple measures that apply consistently do good,
By being a good person to those around you, being thoughtful and considerate.
Cognising every little step of the way becomes overwhelming,
You can think a moment here or there, but take the distinctions that are sensible.
You don’t have to identify with it or embody it.
Let it serve you or others or let it become part of the scenery.
There’s no way to perfect, to always be correct, to determine and conclude an analysis of all material within life.
Do what you can within your means, take the bad with the good, and don’t let the bad absolve the value of the good.
You are only a bad person if you let yourself believe so, if you willingly let selfish desires dictate it all.
Beyond your simple needs, beyond the potential for the day and those beyond, there isn’t much to seek, to be in awe or wishing for.
This present moment is enough.
Express yourself without determining it, without attaching a reason to hate, to see the flaws or the weaknesses.
There is only potential for change.
Enjoying yourself from time to time doesn’t automatically risk the integrity of your character or morality,
Safely reasonable to do this without costing you or anyone else.
To live is to die, sun with night, and toil for rest.
