Harm Reduction Missed shot of non micron filtered dormicum (midazolam)

Ive shot basically 15mg midazolam and binders and shit in 1.5mls boiled tapwater into my hand. I do feel incredibly stupid and it is still paining me since last night. Was fucked and may have missed the vein entirely.

Should i go ER or just wait it out?

I want to go to the gym but my hand is still store. Would going anyway make it worse? Im sure I was digging around with a big needle aswell. I was fucked. I feel stupid, I assure you I wont be doing it again.

If your hand hurts enough to question using it or not it might be best to let it rest and heal for a day or 2 rather than irritating it more.

Oh boy.....not to chastise but why would you inject ANYTHING without filtering? Even a piece of cigarette filter would remove most of the insolubles. In th future PLEASE filter EVERYTHING you plan on injecting.

Also there is no reason to heat most anything to prep it. It only serves to dissolve binders and other solids that aren't soluble in cold water.

The only thing you can do for now is to massage the area for 10 minutes a few times a day with a hot washcloth. If you notice any redness, swelling, pain or heat radiating from the site, you may want to think about seeing a doctor as these are signs of an abcess.
