last paragraph (big one not the small one) is the most significant so skip to there if you don't want to read this.

Ok, so I filtered (not through a micron filter, stupid I know but I don't have any ATM and am not going to have any for the next few months and I only have pills
so...) two stilnox tablets (10mg) until the solution was clear (filtered through syringe barell tightly stuffed with cotton).

I used the vein on my forearm around one hands width from my wrist, the one going down the thumb I think. I registered and shot, only half way through the shot I got so messed up that I thought my arm had turned into a war effort (hard to explain) and the syringe was there to save the children of Ethiopia. So I re adjusted the syringe and I kept re adjusting it throughout the shot. I don't know how much I missed but I am guessing it was about 1/4 probably less. I used five units in total.

Now I am left with a small bump (I don't think it changed much since yesterday evening but as you can see I was not in my right mind) which looks a little bit like a bruise about two centimeters in diameter and it is not really visible unless you look from an angle (you can see a small bump) or if you're looking for it (looks a tiny little bit darker, bruise not rotton skin darker). It hurts a little when it is touched. I am using a hot compress four times daily. I would like to know from those experienced with this type of stuff, how long does it take for an abscess to develop and how do you know an abscess is developing. I really am lost, all I know is what I can see online and nothing looks like my arm because the pictures are of abscesses already filled with puss. This was yesterday evening btw. Anyway I want to avoid a dr visit because I have no cash (all being spent on necessities not related to drugs, I got the stilnox 4 free)

Thanks for reading this and if you ever think of shooting zolpidem, DO IT!!!! Just be safe and use 10mg or less and micron filter it. It was alot of fun while it lasted (15-30 min).

Oh and would there be any excuse that I could use if I do develop an abscess? Such as: I got a splinter and pulled it out a couple of days ago, or I don't know how it happened, I just noticed a painful lump a couple of days ago or something of the like? Would it be feasable?

Sorry for posting twice in a row but my PC says fail each time I try to edit so I'll try it this way.

if you put your arm up to touch your cheeck, and it feels a little warm, thats the start of an abcess. dont keep using the hot compress, use a cold one instead. the hot only inflames it even worse. the cold will bring down the swelling, and if its a bruise, and not an abcess it will probably take maybe a day or so to go away. the cold will also make it hurt less. if it is the start of an abcess the swelling will go down with the cold, but it will still be warm and a little red around the area. i know that you dont want to deal with going to the doctor, but if its not better within a few days i strongly suggest that you go. its better to be safe than sorry, you just never know. good luck:)

Thanks for the reply, do you know how long it takes for the abscess to develop or go away? I don't feel any heat on the site, it still hurts and I don't hunk it has changed much since this morning, how long can I safely wait?

Unfortunately with these things its all dependent on if your body decides it can't fight off the infection of missing. I have missed several times and never ended up with an abscess. The one time I did I had a bump but it went away and then all of a sudden it came back and was obviously an abscess so I just waited it out for it to drain on its own which is a nasty experience because I was so terrified of the ER docs...its hard to explain an abscess as something else. But if it DOES turn into that and gets so bad, you do need to get it lanced by a doctor. I hope the best for you...

I've heard two different remedies..... If its IM then massage with warm towel. If its just a miss/skin pop massage it and apply ice if u can. i havent thought about it in a while but... the important thing is to massage.
