Hey there y'all, I've been reading bluelight posts for a couple of years now but never posted. Glad to finally join!
Anyway, to the nature of my post. Two days ago I tried IVing some black tar for the first time. I was reluctant about shooting myself up for the first time so I had my friend who has been IVing the same tar for a couple weeks do me up. I choose the vein that runs along my forearm above the traditional junkie spot because it seemed to be pretty big and easy to hit. He registered in the vein but I believe when he went to stick in the plunger it went all the way through because it burned pretty badly and I did not get a rush. I was as clean as possible and no bump or swelling formed after the shot. There was only slight redness which went away 2 mins after. The only complication I have 48 hours later is some muscle soreness in my forearm mainly right below the injection site. It kinda feels like tennis elbow if anyone has dealt with that before. I have read many different posts and believe I have just irritated the muscle, and I'm sorry if this is repetitive but I just want to know if there is anything specific I should watch out for. I don't think I'm going to try an IV again because I'm just too worried about messing myself up, but I'm just worried about the situation. Thanks!
