Hi guys, apologies for firing right in with a question, I've read the rules and promise to introduce myself etc soon but I need advice asap.
I have been injecting into my groin (on and off) for 2 years and have never missed however I have had DVTs in each leg from injecting alternatives to heroin. I've been clean bar 1 or 2 slip ups for nearly a year (on meth)
But I had a hit and I am worried that yesterday I may have missed a little, it wasn't sore maybe a tiny sting but I am terrified I will get another DVT and lose everything in my life that I have worked so hard to keep by not using.
It was a small yellow head all the way in and its like I can feel a sore bit floating inside but I don't know if im imagining it cos i'm so worried.
My question is: Can a miss in the groin cause a DVT or would a dvt be from contaminants in the blood?
Will I get a swollen leg? this is what i'm scared of as i'm getting married in a few weeks.
