Listen to the boss no matter what, they call it respect but i say it is a threat. When uniqueness is ripped from everyones mind the land of the free becomes the land of the blind.
When you are forced into labor angainst your will. When the mind is exploited and stress begins to kill. Why is it a suprise when people turn to a pill.
When everything you know has been forced into your mind. And everything you believe turns out to be a lie. When the world you were promised passes you by. Why is it a suprise when we turn to suicide.
I was promised the lime light, i was promised the stars. Why am i suprised that i don't own a car.
I was promised a mansion in beverly hills, i was promised five wives and a licence to kill.
I was promised my own plane and a red carpet at every step, I was promised a sit at the emmy's next to Nick cage and Johnny Depp
I was promised a dog, a nice house and a white picket fence, I guess it all slipped away when my dad packed up and left.
I was told it all would work as long as i tried, i was told i could have whatever i wanted, sometimes i sit in my RV and wonder if they lied.
When bankruptcy comes the 2nd or 3rd time and your at home with 5 kids and no wife. Maybe you shoulda went back to tenth grade and decided to live your life.
