I've been taking 30mg of Mirtazapine for the last 7 days and yesterday when I tried to I take Tramadol I felt over-stimulated and edgey. It seems to be an interaction with Mirtazapine and the SNRI properties of Tramadol.

It's been 24hrs since I had a dose of Mirtazapine would it be safe to take Tramadol now or should I leave it another day or two?

If you have to ask, I wouldn't push it.

I hate Remeron. My idiot psychiatrist had me on it for awhile and it didn't help with my anxiety at all.

Stay safe, that tramadol is more dangerous than it sounds. I've had a seizure on them.

According to the pharmacist I asked the two are fine to take together because mirtazapine doesn't have the same risks that SSRI antidepressants have. I never actually got to test it out because the doctor that was going to prescribe the tramadol changed his mind.
