mirtazapine questions?????

I was on Citalopram for like 2 years, barely did anything for me, doc put me on Mirtazapene, took one pill and felt worse than an MDMA comedown if you'll believe that, I felt drunk, nauseus and just like I was dying, I couldn't even get to sleep so I could sleep through it, I tried taking it for about a week each time right before I went to sleep but it kept making me feel like I was going to die so I refused to take any more, maybe the fact that it had such a profound effect on me at the beginning (when I got nothing like that at all from Citalopram 40mg) means that if I could have stuck with it and got past the side effects at the start it would have worked?
 
Does anyone know if mirtazapine will harm a 2C-E trip?
Also, would low dose DXM (30-60mg) daily with mirtazapine be bad?
