Mint Appreciation Thread 2

The blue O's are good. These are fire but sorta weak. i took 3 and a half a green blank to roll.. took about 2 hours for it to fully kick in.. rolled for like 5 hours with a great comedown.. had bad jaw clench and decent eye wiggles some C.E.V's when i wld smoke n stuff.. good CLEAN MDMA fell right asleep after dancing all night.. thought m,y head was gonna fall off frm bobbing it to deadmau5 all night. rolls good just weak start with a double drop n take a 3rd a hour later. BTW sorta mellow MDMA but not really.. not like the neon ones a lil more mellow but still a hard roll when taken enuff but VERY CLEAN X id do em again. feel good today just slept all day n feel like a zombie but not as bad as old mints made me feel aftyer.. as far the the roll goes 8/10 just sorta weak a dbl drop n a 3rd a hour later is perfect
 
The tester informed us that he had to use a cotton swab/Qtip to release the reagent. i dont think there is any researchable evidence that this will mess with the reaction, but it seems plausible. i can confirm that the crumbly blue Os are good to go. i did dbl drop so my perception may be altered....but all i know is that if you take 2 at once, you will roll effing haaard if you have no tolerance.. but ya, i noticed those PR reports reagent result appeared dirty also.

yes.. this is the problem with the ampules vs. just having the bottle... i can barely get liquid to come out so i tried using q tips (oops).. the minute teh reagent hit the qtip it started turning brown (im guessing its the chemicals they use to bleach the cotton) but i still got the black reaction from the pill..

but yea not the best procedure.. i want the reagent in a bottle from now on...
 
Disappointed with mints/ bought 3 mints from this guy on sunday blue a, green a, orange/yello a. Took 2 at 8:30 felt the come up took one more at 9:20 I was rolling but was extremely dissatisfied. Found a guy selling more mints he sold me 2 blue o's. the nice old brittle ones from the summer (at least i thought they were) finally I got a good roll going. I don't like these new pills I hope they improve by SHM... On the bright side I had no hangover the next day slept for a few hours and partied my ass off. The last 4 days I've been going to bed around 9am i need to slow the fuck down.. I shouldn't need to take 5 pills and blow all that money for something 3 should have done. I remember this summer at NCMF 3 pills had me rolling for hours!!

perhaps there is a connection w/ what's known among boy users as "cotton fever". the term is in reference to a condition (a horrible one @ that - required hospitalization as a result) typically encountered when a q-tip or its' removable cotton is used to filter heroin. there is a bacteria (enterobacter agglomerans specifically) in some samples that when introduced into the bloodstream (via intravenous administration) causes moderate to severe feverish, flu-like symptoms.

it is quite possible that the reagents were reacting to that material, which remains in the cotton even through the cleaning/bleaching process. the bacteria itself is known to colonize cotton plants. also, it may be reacting (as you've mentioned) to residual chemicals used to bleach the cotton before it is spun onto the sticks.

regardless, it is interesting - hard to believe this is the first time PR has encountered such a reaction. i have been working w/ reagents for several years and i will attest to their sensitivity & tendency to quickly react to random chemicals.

the chicago mint has an untarnished reputation for quality - so even if this was not the case, there are no doubts in my mind that the presses in question are just as fiyyaahhhhh as any others. and i'm audi five-thousand...

you shouldn't be requiring five mints, EVER, if you are respecting your body & taking responsible breaks from MDxx! either your tolerance is incredibly high & you are abusing your brains' regulation of serotonin, dopamine & norepinephrine, you are dangerously overweight, or have issues w/ drug metabolisation (can be the result of physical health or the consumption of prescription chemicals, notably ones prescribed for treatment/maintenence of psychological disorders and/or conditions).

the mint has the most solid reputation in this country - there are individuals from holland (where it is typical for beans to contain 150+ mg MDxx) who are pleased w/ the mint, so your allegation, or disappointment is one of suspicious undertone.

sure, there are SEVERAL batches having been released in the past that contain what seems like significantly less MDxx than their predecessors, but no individual should require five mints - presuming they do not fall into one of the above categories.

hope your future experiences are more satisfying!
 
@n2n yea i know what u mean. I took 2 red/pink o's, 2 yellow Os and 1 green A, in a matter of 2hrs. Then 2 blue Os a few hours later. 7 total and nowhere near where near the neon As this summer. Honestly i havent really been floored since those concave green ones a year ago thanksgiving, and i believe those were mda dominant. I usually wait around a month n a half to 3 mo in between rolls, maybe i need more time, or maybe i need to find the presses from across the pond.

yea i gotta agree here.. ive been rolling wayyy too much and for many years now and i have *never* had to take anywhere near 7 in a night...
 
im thinking(could be way off) that you guys have some tolerance issues that are hindering your serotonin release, or something similar(SSRI prescription), bcuz i was more than happy from 2 blue Os. i was at home with the ol' lady with some fahhhh dank that smells like a skunks ass so maybe that helped the roll, but ive had alot of mints since 2009(from the best yellow&green asterisks in late '09, to the worst ever mints -- green dots/thick blue As/dark blue Ys in early 2011) and i was a happy fella :) but dont get me wrong, i truly appreciate your honest feedback. im not saying youre lying or anything like that, but im just confused why my experience was so much better. especially taking into account that i wasnt even at a rave.... i was just sitting next to my speakers banging De La Mota(drum n' bass) and playing with a clitoris :P lmfao
 
Dont get me wrong, im not blaming the mints here. I still had a great time, and 7 lasted me from 930pm to 6am. (Yea i know...but it was new years) i just cant get floored nemore. But hey the magic eventually goes away. Im just past 20 sessions in my life and i heard sometimes thats right around the magic number. I feel great the day after and still do today. I take no prescriptions, avg wt, and look forward to the next time. Its just my input here will not be an accurate representation of most peoples experience i guess. My best rolls have been at home though, and lately ive always been going out.

Why on bloody earth would you pop 5 pills like that!? Especially if the second one didn't do it?! That's quite a tolerance. I wouldn't even drop until my tolerance went down...what a waste.
 
Heard great reviews about this new batch from friends, now I'm kicking myself for not going to a show on the 31st and trying em myself.

I understand your concerns but I believe I have taken appropriate measures not to abuse. A little about my most recent rolling history.The time I rolled before that show I took 250mg of molly, 150 being my initial dose the redose being 100. I rolled from around 10pm to around 6am. It was a real good time, I was at a nice chill house party just really felt swell. That was well over a month before the show. I only abused the drug once this was this summer, I took around 10 mints with in a period of 3 days. Bad idea, this was before I knew about the consequences and this forum no need to lecture me on that. Ever since than I have taken month long breaks, ate good food and took supplements such as 5-htp neurooptimizer etc and dosed appropriately. My dealer advised against taking mints. Saying that new ones are shit and that I should buy his molly rather than being burned. I took his advice bought molly with the intent of taking it at the show. A few hours before the show my friend calls me that he has mints at a good and price freshest press. They looked like mints, the markings were right but they were a little thicker than I remember. It was finally after I ran into some one at the show and got blue o's did I begin to roll. These blue o's were tiny and brittle just like I remembered. I think if I took those initially I would have had a great time. I don't plan on rolling until late February so I hope the quality returns.

tried the new pink blanks.. they are on par with the orange BB's... took 1.5 last night and was pretty good for about 4 hours at the club....
