a good friend of mine (who loves to roll) actually just started tripping at shows after doing it in miami... n he says the same thing that its even more awesome and fun than rolling...
i havent tripped in a while but just the excitement with which he was describing it makes me want to do it now... were actually planning to make a day of it for the first edm fest of the summer here...

ChiLights- i didnt do much homie i got stuck workin midnights. Some of my crew went to that show everyones talkin bout. I guess it was epic. My boy says mints were flowin everywhere. Even older batches, purp Ys and yellow As are what he came home with.
So u guys gotta help me out with somethin, i just started dating this chick, its been bout 2 months now and shes cool as fuck i really like her, however shes pretty strait edge. Smoked weed b4 but never done anything more. Last time i rolled i lied and told her i was workin midnights, but i really went out and rolled, lol. Im scared to tell her cause i dont want her to freak out and think im a drug addict. She might not talk to me anymore. How do i go about telling her i like rollin? I dont wanna lie anymore and id really like to see if she would try it with me.

ooh yeah thats a tricky one... the thing about rolling is (aside form weed) its pretty socially acceptable among girls... e.g. i know alot of girls that will roll but get totally sketched out by cocaine (for obvious good reasons,lol).. so at least you are working with something that doesnt have a huge social stigma...
anyway i would do it something like this... go to a show with your friends.. take pics of you with them where everyone looks like they are smiling and having a good time but not looking too fucked up... then you can talk about how great that show was with ur girl and be like omg.. my friends were being so goofy and fun.. they decided to roll.... of course this will lead into the obvious questions 1) did you/do you do any of that and/or 2) have you ever... and you answer no i didnt i just had a few beers... but i did it a couple times when i was younger and it was alot of fun... but you know we all grow up and have to be more responsible... i wouldnt mind doing it again but only for like some special occasion...
then you can 1) ask her if she has ever rolled... and 2) be like "you know i can actually get really good MDMA still... if you ever wanted to do it we could like go to a good show and do it together... and of course you have to gauge whether to even get to 2 by how she answers 1... meaning if shes like ugh no way.. i hate that shit.. then its not going to happen at least anytime soon... but if shes receptive you play it like it would be a very rare or even one time special thing that you guys would do together... girls love that shit...

yea thats a good approach clubkid, maybe ill try it. The reason i asked this question is cause i kno alot of u guys have had this situation come up b4. but this whole topic bit me in the ass a couple yrs ago when i told a girl and she proceeded to tell me she would never touch any drugs cause her brother died of a heroin overdose. needless to say a week after our conversation, she disappeared. lol

Set the standard early my friend, be open and honest and if she doesn't like it, she doesn't like you.
That's the thing, if you stop doing something you like doing to "show her you care" you're actually quitting something you like to show her that if something you do she doesn't agree with, you'll quit if she asks.
It's not a good habit to start early, and at our age, we need to be open and honest and find someone that's going to like us for who we are.
When I started dating my girl I had rolled once, and she had some Molly at a concert I took which propelled me back into loving it actually. she got me to take L first too
But, now she doesn't do it very often and I continue occasionally. I told her its what I wanted to do. She accepted it.
I quit smoking cigs because she didn't like it so now we have a sticky sitch, she gets mad when I continue doing something she doesn't like instead of saying
"that's just him, oh well, boys will be boys."
She still loves me no matter what, but it's a bigger deal than it has to be usually because I didn't set the stage from the get go.
day 2 of bass was fucking intense sweaty hot dance floor with a bunch of freaks getting down.. everyone I was around was grinning their faces off...
shit actually stopped cuz it was so hot and humid and the confetti fell early cuz it was so damn hot... anyways totally different set was played which was awesome

had a great time don't feel like shit and feels like my antibiotics are doin their job except my right eye on Sunday got bloodshot in the AM and today they still kinda are and itch

Well crobar, I don't think the last one bit u in the ass, I think it saved u a long a tedious journey.
I went to a show that had 100,000 watts flowing.. but unfortunately the lame ass venue couldn't allow it to be turned up all the way. I got to try one of the "supposedly" new blue As, and loved it. Had a few weak/bunk batches but the new ones are legit, better than the peach blanks from not too long ago.. maybe a quality control issue? I let my younger brother try rolling for the first time last night with a blue A split in half throughout the night.. epic to say the least. I absolutely cracked up when he took his sunglasses off and saw his thizzface and shit eating grin in the middle of the crowd.. and he's straight edge lol. Have fun guys!

i hear ya... its interesting this came up cause my friend n i had a big discussion about girlfriends and drugs; when i met my current gf i did to her what i did to every other one of my gf's; seduce her using the dark side and letting her have/try tons of drugs... now years later one of the big continuing arguments we have is me telling her to lay off the coke, and its become a big point of contention... now keep in mind i have nothing against it, i actually like it but i have learned (after many years) to get it well under control to where i can put it away at the end of the night on saturday night (well sunday morning,lol..) and im done with it until the next time i go out which is never during the week... with her if i left it around she would do it all the time and even on weekends i think she does it too much... ciontrast my situation with my friend's... his gf was a raver at age 15 and did massive amounts of MDMA almost every day (actually the only case of chronic MDMA abuse i have ever seen personally) as well as lots of coke... she eventually went to rehab and cleaned up and has lived drug free for the past 10 years... my friend both rolls and does coke as well and his GF knows, does not approve but allows it as long as she doesnt see him getting out of control..
he feels as though he is missing out because they cant roll together... whereas i think he is the luckiest guy in the world! when i was younger i thought having a druggie gf to hang out and cause mayhem togetherwas the coolest thign in the world... now i would give anything for normal gf.. dont get me wrong; i still want to go out and party n take ills but i dont want my gf to be that way.. i know this is a terrible double standard but i just dont think its worth it anymore because my gf (like most girls) cannot control her use...
i guess the point of the story is to show the flipside of the situation... e.g. you met a cool girl that you really like... what if she rolls and *really* likes it.. because there is a small possibility that she does the "rolling is awesome and i see absolutely no downside to it... goodbye moderation!!!"
either way i personally think its pretty important (especially for guys our age) to at least be honest about using at some point... whether or not the rolling thing happens its probably best for ur relationship to at least let her know that you might do it from time to time...

this is very strange... crobarkid if you dont mind me askin, did ur friend get these through someone he used before or was it a new guy... because its looking like maybe the same group is peddling both these and the white fake mints...
on a related note things are kinda strange even in the city... guys i knew that always had ills are dry again... i went to get some more of the A's n they were gone too... ended up picking up some of the purple bb's... n ima full on searching for any of the remaining Y's
oh it was a sick show, don't let the level of the volume change your mind if it's an artist you REALLY like and enjoy my younger brother who got minty for the first time said it was intense, I was pretty sober minus a few tokes and a beer, and it didn't seem too loud for me. Don't get me wrong the bass hitting feels amazing even sober.. so awesome! Then again maybe I'm going deaf.. I had to deal with girl drama all night and didn't get to enjoy the blue A until the car ride home, then things got freaky with my lady friend I was fighting with all night as I peaked off the other half of the lil guy at the end of the night lol.. ahh I've been spending too much money on these damn shows and these gems!

lol girl trouble.. you.. me... my friend too... its like the girls have some sort of conspiracy where they get together and say "yeah they're really looking forward to going to this awesome show and rolling so lets act totally irrational just until the show ends..." i swear this happens to me sooo often... ( to elaborate.. my gf hates bringing a purse so she gives me like 5-6 things to put in my pockets: lip balm, gum, cigs, comb and little thing of hand lotion... then when im just starting to roll and really let go she bugs me like once every 10 minutes for 2 of the 5 things.. i cant even rememeber which pocket its in so i gotta stop and search through my shit... ugh makes me crazy!)
i just checked out the youtube vids of the show... it looks crazy!!! and now i dont know what to do.... decisions decisions.... cursed by not knowing which awesome show to go see....
