I don't think his set was that good that day, and that whole fest was filled with 17 year olds who love dubstep. Of course they don't know what to do with themselves, because they don't know how to dance. The Trance shows in Chicago are honestly, the best shows i've been to. <3 trance

Ya man they fokken suck. It's just a bunch of kids that migrated from heavy rock to brostep. Brostep is pretty much the 'heavy metal' of the EDM world so it's an easy transition. I'm hoping they start to figure out the more peaceful culture of the rest of the EDM genres and chillax a bit. When I saw Zed's Dead I kept getting elbowed in the back by some young dickbag. I turned around and was like dude fuck off, so his friend took him somewhere else. It's not cool, the crowds don't mix at all. At least at EDC Vegas they had their own bro stage so all the mosh'ers just stayed there the entire time and I could rage on to my house, minimal, tech, and trance in peace :)

I'm not a hater on bro at all, when I'm wasted I absolutely love to jam out to it, but it really is just a moshing genre. As much as I thought the CD was terrible, it worked well with Korn's latest stuff. I just don't like when it's mixed in with other music going on which can lead moshers coming to the other more peaceful and caring scenes.

At EDC Vegas everyone was sharing waters and lookin out for everyone. When I went to check out Skream and Benga it was just elbows and hard staring. So I peaced out of that shit asap.

56 and out of the scene or not, you should know to ask for drugs on a public forum that is definitely monitored is pretty damn stupid.

I don't want to be a complete dick, especially if you have good intentions. Let me share a few personal forum guidelines with you

1) read the forum rules and exercise restraint. The Internet can become a flame war really quickly. It's so volatile because nobody is standing next to the person they're making fun of.
2) post in relevant forums. Mint appreciation thread should be about all things mint (except sourcing, cause that's bad)
3) take a look around the community before you jump right in to get a feel for what goes on in each forum, including the style of posts, often you can glean many of the rules just by watching other mistakes, thread closures, etc
4) have fun
 
what up mint heads, any of you listen to rap?

ill be hittin up the chi town for my first time next month. going to see one of the great bay area rappers. any one else going to be there? also any suggestion for any other shows that weekend? house music, deeper the better.
