I am posting this not because it is newsworthy but just to highlight the fact that any LSD trip with violence is newsworthy even though it is a statistical rarity. I can find someone on my street assaulting family members while drunk every damn night and that never makes the paper.
Shortly before 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, several police officers responded to 15 Reservoir Park and 102 Reservoir Street because of a teenager who was reportedly out of control.
Reports indicate the 15-year-old from Needham had taken a large amount of LSD, a hallucinogenic drug, and was attacking family members and police officers. He had also destroyed several items in the two homes during the incident.
Police detained and transported him to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for observation. The minor is being charged with domestic assault-and-battery, assault-and-battery with a dangerous weapon, aggravated assault of an elderly person, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and malicious destruction of property.
The above report was provided by the Needham Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.
