Hey All- I requested this thread, I myself am not a Heroin user However 3 of my friends which were young adult males have passed away in the last year here in Minneapolis due to Heroin overdose, there was another death recently that I believe was Methadone related. There are reports surfing across our local news, a lot of reporters keep saying the H is " too pure " However I am skeptical if this is actually pure dope or cut with fentanyl or other alternatives. I see heavy Opiod abuse among young adults here and can forecast Minneapolis's dope scene so hopefully this thread will become useful.
 
I am not a dope user, but I have constant access to BTH and powder here in Minnesota. It has not disappeared in the slightest. A ton of the dudes ages 19-25 in the music scene are hard on it in MPLS right now.

I am very curious if anyone has come across a bad batch in MN in the last year. Please post if you saw or heard of any.

Also my friend got raided a year back and police had to stay at his house with him for 2 hours while they cleared up an issue on a warrant.

The police actually played Nintendo wii with him while they waited and discussed with him how big the H scene is in Mpls right now. Especially in Upper Middle class Heroin use is booming here.
 
Ya IMO most cops aren't bad unless you're being a douche but, when they do shit like that I think that they're just trying to make a CI out of you. I bet they gave him a business card on the way out and it wasn't so they could chill later. Still beats the shit out of the usual tough guy shit

I hear that I never thought of it that way. 4 the record my buddy took every felony and did his time, so regardless the tactic didn't work.

I just saw in the top ten dope citys someone listed Minneapolis because of the mexican BTH he claimed it was very good, he also said our powder comes from chicago which makes sense.

I have heard some debate from locals saying the Mexican tar just sucks but this guy is saying it is top of the line? Opinions?
 
^ there is always bad dope and good dope. It doesn't matter if its tar or powder what matters is if your dealer cuts it too much.

Dope seems to not be as good, or maybe just the wrong people these days

Before rehab 2 yrs ago, I knew some Mexicans with absolutely mindblowlingy good tar, for incredibly cheap, and a couple blacks on the north side with decent powder, for a "meh" price

Nowadays it's almost double what I used to pay, and not nearly as good

My old junkie friend from U of M said his chemistry major friend tested some tar and it was 76%, I believe him, but you might not. And that batch wasn't even the best of it

exactly! they have tried that crap with me,mpls police beat me into a coma and all the top teeth out of my head, yes i was blacked out on methadone and benzo's and acting a fool but i didnt deserve that! ACAB, ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS! ime if they are not beating me up, they are trying to recruit me as a ci with promise of either lots of money for dope or time in jail if i dont, they all have a fucked up agenda pretty much i think and mpls cops are notorious assholes, im glad to be on mmt so i have to deal with their likes only rarely ps;i sure am glad to be out of the dope game! now i just pop a pill now and again and smoke lots of good herb, its blueberry kush now, last week it was strawberry, b4 that; lemon.

he is a dope vet of the highest order, thisstuff still totally puts him out, thank god for the bottle of nalaxone he still has from when it could still be distributed by harm reduction places or else he would have joined the scores of friends we have both lost, they just found his brother in a motel dt mpls dead of a heroin od and he was on 150 mgs of methadone, i know how potent it is myself cuz i was strung out on it for 2 years starting with doing my freinds rinses which would get me completely gowed, just a rinse, thats how i got the tar habbit, i got out of the workhouse, where i had kicked 150 mgs of methadone and after 8 months still felt crappy as hell so i started doing these tar rinses and boom i had my first tar habbit, which surprised me cuz while on the powder the tar sucked imo, even out west it couldnt compare to the chicago powder but the mexicans flooded the market with super cheap and super potent tar in order to take it over and in a couple short years they did just that.

in the methadone clinics have been to in the last 2 years i have seen signs with warnings on them saying that super potent fentanyl-cut heroin is responsible for many heroin od deaths in mn recently and this has been going on for some time however i do believe it is reffering to powder dope and not tar
 
Wow, ACAB was actually a motto of and song by a Minneapolis hardcore band from the mid 90's called the Crusty Hells; they played in South Minneapolis basements... H is extremely potent in Minneapolis right now. Tar from Mexico distributed by the Mexican guys is extremely potent, 75% isn't rare and is sometimes on the weak end. Powder typically comes from Chicago and is stereotypically distributed on the north side these days and can really vary in potency. As far back as the late 90's when I first got into H, there were some guys selling powder cut with Fentanyl, I overdosed almost fatally once many years ago..I'm guessing it's still happening today. I have been off opioids for years but am still exposed to the local drug culture via my profession. Naloxone is indeed available in the TC area via a couple organizations. I'm brand new here and unsure if I can name them? Anyway, hope everyone stays safe and stays positive!

I dunno shit bout Minnesota tar. But I do know there has been some really pure tar seized by cops before. In fact it can be just as pure as the ECP. Its just a different manufacturing method

Thanks for your input, as far as I know the potency up here is quite high, I would guess this has a lot to do with Chicago and Detroit.
 
yeah, i used the aids project back before women with a point came along, they would always park the van where everybody copped in south mpls and after i would cop i would find the van or call them and they would drive out, they even let me fix in the van sometimes which was always super cool of them especially when i was sick, that was way back(95' or so) when copping a bag was hit or miss with a lot of searching for the guys from chi town....then pagers(they sucked,i would always page from a storewhen a certain cool chick was working or beg other workers and end up being s.o.l.) came along and then cell phones, cell phones totally blew the game up for the dealers(and the users for that matter)and made it so much easier(when i think of how it was before cell phones i can hardly believe i went through all that before i had a habit to cop) just goes to show how much i liked it and how i did get hooked and strung to the gills8(
