some of my mimosa vendors mention that their inner root bark powder is filtered, thus making it more pure and take on a purple tinge

however, these same vendors all have a a lower price than the unfiltered ones

is this a sign of a scam or just luck?
 
I've never come across this, it might just be a way of selling more mimosa, but you want it to be complete and "unfiltered" (as far as i know), its supposed to be crushed fully or literally put in a blender anyway...

I would just get some regular mimosa hostilis
 
Hahaha another retarded untruth from the reverend of lies. No sources either what a suprise. I've seen the purple bark is better thing before but haven't heard of it being filtered. I don't really pay attention to these sort of things as there almost always just marketing ploys.

when buying dried botanicals it's always best to get them whole so the compounds don't evaporate or break down, this is common knowledge for anybody who works with herbs.

Well, say I'm a close friend of a plant enthusiast who just happens to have ground up a fresh batch of mimosa hostilis and offers to sell me some.

I wouldn't be buying whole, and I would be having one hell of a night.

I don't disagree fully with your idea of buying whole Teo but when you use radical dogmatic slogans like "Buy whole every time." and just leave it at that without elaborating like we should live by some virtuous code of the fucktards, it gets irritating. And it's frankly patronizing.

ground up is ok, but i believe whole botanicals are always better for the reasons stated above

hmm how would you 'filter' a chopped up trees bark? through the imagination i suppose but imho i agree with the other bler who stated that whole plants are more intact. havefUn!
 
the reasoning behind it is because the purple inner bark has the highest alkaloid content, and it is filtered to remove portions of the outer and inner-inner bark.

thereby making it more potent per weight

So you are telling me that from 2.2 pounds of will get me at most, somewhere close to an ounce of DMT??
 
i have no idea, ive never extracted anything

i just know that DMT (or alkaloids) are about 3% of the Mimosa

Yes, there is a lot of physical mass involved, but that's quite a few hits and honestly, the price per hit when you extract yourself is pretty negligible. I have no idea what the market price for DMT is (I don't know of any demand for it at all, honestly) but I almost completely certain that you will save money, and you will be rewarded for all of your hard work. It's not even that hard to extract.

I'm not responding to your post in rebuttal, but as sort of a jumping off point for mine. You know your stuff :D
 
ive heard of higher yields (perhaps of mixed alkaloids and not pure DMT) but i have no first hand experience
 
well if it is 3%, that = 29 grams.

So im Hoping, and i mean really hoping this is some badass mimosa.
 
I think number is for total alkaloids not just DMT

There is ALOT of other shit in mimosa besides just DMT!

like "jungle spice"
