From what I've heard, the law's changed in the UK this year. I was planning on extracting some DMT this year, but no longer know where I can obtain the bark. Any help/advice? Also, still living with my parents, but they'll be away for a while in the summer while I buy it, would they find out?
 
Extracting DMT is illegal in the UK, as far as I know. It's probably best to order whole bark if anything because the more "prepared" it is, the more likely some customs agents will take an interest.

Mimosa bark is the most popular to do extractions with. There's other sources but they don't work as well.


As for your parents, I would avoid making a mess with lye and naptha indoors. (Do it outdoors.)

So the mimosa seems to be a no-go? What would you reccomend?
 
Extracting any DMT is illegal because you're producing a Class A drug. It looks like the UK government doesn't like "preparations" including powdered bark, but shredded is OK.

Mimosa is really the best source to work with. If you can't find it then there are a few other plant sources that can be used, but they are all more expensive.

So I can buy it shredded online, legally, without parents knowing or customs confiscating? If so, what extra steps do I need to do to prepare it?
 
I guess you can still buy it online legally, we can't tell if your parents would notice though, can we? If you get some, you need to extract it, look up straight to base (STB) DMT extraction.
 
Buy it within the UK - don't order it from abroad. It might get stopped by customs for 6 months and then it all depends how far they feel like taking it. You don't want the police knocking at your parents door 6 months from now asking why they are ordering class A drugs.

I already have a pic tutorial for extracting it, but it doesn't say anything about it being ground/powdered/what form the root should be in in general.
 
What tutorial have you got? There's a lot of different ways of extracting it.

All you do is chuck the powdered/shredded back in some water in a stainless steel pot, add sodium hydroxide, leave it to soak for a few hours and then add your naptha and stir. Leave it to seperate off and suck up the top layer of naptha.

If you use an aluminium pot the hydroxide will burn through it.
 
I don't think it matters, the conditions are so basic (alkaline) it will just break down into slime.
 
Yeah - if you leave whole bark long enough it breaks down to slime. Takes about 3 or 4 days to totally dissolve.
 
I can't post pics on the site, so I can't find the guide online; so I can't show you the tutorial I have. So basically, it doesn't matter what form it's in, just hte more ground up, the faster the process?
 
Forget the tutorial and look for the STB method. That's the one you want, if the tutorial is saying "Firstly soak the bark in acid.." then bin it.
 
Mine's titled "STB technique", so I guess I'm good to go? Just gotta find shredded bark online now; would it be too rude of me to ask for trusted links?
 
Probably, post a link? It wouldn't be rude, but it's not allowed to post sources, so actually, I guess it would be rude :p
