I know there are a number of threads alreadt about scales but most posts are pretty dated and so im sure whats the best now isnt what was the best even a year ago

Basically im just looking for a scale that you ACCURATELY measures to the nearest 1mg. Im looking to spend 2 to 3 hundred dollars

I have read on some otger posts that the acculab is pretty highly spoken of and wanted to know if this is still oj of the best options? At first i was goinf to get a gempro 250 but luckily after reading i heard the acculab is better? Thanks in advance :)
 
I can't imagine spending that amount of money on a scale honestly.

You can find a nice, reputable .000mg scale on amazon for $25 shipped. Plenty of reviews, if I'm not mistaken over a 100. Comes with a case, a calibration weight, and anything else you'd need to properly weigh out whatever it is you are weighing.

Spending more than $50 on a scale just seems like an unnecessary waste of money, in my honest opinion. Though I fully understand the reasons behind wanting to do such a thing. Remember though, just cause it's more expensive, doesn't make it better.

My buddy just bought a scale so that he could cap up 150 mg doses of the methylone he ordered. He didn't spend very much on it at all, and it's super-sensitive and, from what I can tell, pretty unbelievably accurate.

We weighed one of my bags that I know comes from Jersey and I assumed weighed maybe 30 mg. Sure enough, 30 mg.

It's definitely accurate enough.
 
I bought one from a local head shop for $40. It weighs from 1mg to 20g . Works just fine and is plenty accurate.

yea this is the one i was reading before.. its from 2007 though... they suggest the Ay123 by acculab but i'm worried that since it was like 5 years ago there's something better available at a better price... =/ i've decided that getting an el-cheapo isn't an option because i'm goign to be measuring some things with only a 2-4mg dose range so having it a few mg's off isn't an option! that said, can anyone offer any insinght?? pretty please :)
 
okay so yeah my decision so far is to get the" Sartorius AY123" which i found for $330 including shipping.. i was going to order it tonight but wanted to make a post on here first and leave it up for a day or so before making such a big purcahse

only one thing throws me off from it.. i was about to press the order button until I googled for reviews and found a link to this youtube video -

now don't get me wrong the scale they're comparing it too is over a $1,000 scale so of course it's going to be better... but with how the one i was going to get seems to jump around it seems like it could be off by as much as 3mg!!! what do you guys think?

it's going to be used to measure things such as 4-aco-dmt, MXE and 2c-p... $330 is a lot for me to dish out-- I am willing to spend extra $ when it comes to safety in dealing with such things but want to make sure I'm not getting screwed into paying too much at the same time :/
 
You can get one off eBay or amazon for dirt cheap between $8 and $40. Some are just made in china junk others are decent. Harbor Frieght has cheap ones too so I heard. Me personally I just go to the smoke shop. There a little pricier but there's no wait. And I'm all for instant gratification. I recently picked up an scale with a 100mg calibrating weight for $30 200g reads to the .00th. But I've had 500g scales too. Varying from .000th to .0th. Another good place to check is swap meets and jewelers shops. No reason to pay more most are accurate and many carry lifetime, 10yr or 1yr warranties.
 
If it's going to be used to measure out Mxe, 2c-P and such, you still don't need to spend such an incredible amount of money on a scale. Something for $40 can measure .000 and will be just as accurate as something that is $100. What you are mostly paying for is brand name. Just because you spent a large sum of money on a product, doesn't necessarily guarantee it's accuracy or quality.
