They say:
"Don't cry over spilled milk."
Not only is that a nice lesson taught by a neat metaphor,
But it's also quick and to the point - the whole quote is only 6 syllables in 5 words.
That's an efficient use of the language.
The saying actually USED TO BE:
"Thou shalt not shed a tear simply because your pasteurized and homogenized beverage has fallen to the floor, so you can no longer enjoy it."
And speaking of which, who the fuck is such a pussy that they would cry over spilled milk?!
They couldda made that point WAY more accurate like:
"Don't cry over a that hot piece of ass who stopped riding your cock because you were stupid enough to call her by the wrong name."
That would make the point.
*********************************************
This is simply some stream-of-consciousness shit.
Less than 10 percent of it EVER makes it to the stage, and less than ONE percent of it makes it into The Rotation, but it's a numbers game, so I keep spittin' 'em out - it's actually a large part of the fun.
Your guys' constructive criticism is welcomed and appreciated - a BL'er once SIGNIFICANTLY improved one of my best jokes with the suggestion of a mere change of one word.
Thank you, Belisarius!
To all who have read this far, I
Thank You,
