Milk or Orange Juice

Ok, so I have seen arguments for both milk and orange juice, with both sides giving reasons as to why you should drink either or and avoid the other to roll harder. However I am still unsure as to which side is correct.

I have two situations coming up later where I can try each out myself to see, however I am still unsure which should keep the roll longer. I have friends who swear by the orange juice, but lately I have seen some postings for milk that make sense.


Any ideas?
 
Orange Juice contains anti-oxidants.. they'll be good for reducing neuro-toxicity.. apart from that I don't think there's any benefits from drinking orange juice before a roll.. it won't make you roll harder or longer..

And where did you get milk from? What's that supposed to do?

Oh yeah and another thing - it's known that amphetamines get broken down and flushed out of your system alot quicker in an acidic environment.. although it's not known wether this is true for MDMA (atleast by me) there is some speculation that it may well be the case.. which, if true.. will mean orange juice will shorten the affects of your roll.
 
Orange juice, grapefruit juice, purne juice....any juice you can think of makes no differnce.

Grapefruit juice is a CYP3A4 inhibitor, which is an enzyme that contributes to metabolizing MDMA. Of course, even if there's a theoretical difference, I do agree that it may not make any difference in terms of roll intensity, duration, etc. which are already highly subjective measurements.

As for milk vs. OJ, I don't imagine that drinking any amount of either would significantly change the pH of your bloodstream.

i would hope not. your blood is at a constant pH of 7.4. if it changes in the slightest you are fucked
 
How about soda? I heard that pepsi and coca cola can enhance your roll to.

Something about 5ht replication and comedown inhibitors that keep serotonin in your brain longer.

And don't forget candy ! jellybeans are specifically known to enhance dopamine release too, causing a bigger and longer high. Only the blue ones though, green jellybeans can cause neurotoxity and receptor downgrading. I think the yellow ones also enhance speedy pills.

In conclusion, anything can enhance your roll. Its all about imaginationland.

lol, where have you seen this argument??

What a load of twaddle.

I can see some value from a neurotoxic point of view but even that would be limited.

Orange Juice has been discussed here alot, and everytime the same conclusion: it doesnt change anything at all

As for milk, it takes alot of time for your stomach to process, like 90-120 mins. Its likely to slow the absorption of the MDMA, make the peak less intense and the duration a small bit longer
 
yea, i think the thing with oj comes from the fact that you fry harder on acid with vitamin c. or maby thats just another long standing myth. i read it in fear and loathing in las vegas and it has just been kind of a tradition on any drug since the first time i ate mushrooms. whether it helps or not im not sure, but damn does citrus taste good rolling or frying, it is just so intense, it feels like my tounge is exploding, i love it!
 
When you're on ecstasy you're extremely suceptable (sp?) to the placebo effect... So pretty much anything you think will make you roll harder will. Also if you're spacing out your rolls like you should (at LEAST a month between rolls) every roll is gonna seem intense and you're not gonna completely remember the feeling going into it. It's the drugs that make you roll hard, not the orange juice.




If you want something that will actually help the drugs absorption try eating some tums or baking soda about an hour before you drop with a glass of grapefruit juice.

MDMA is an amphetamine salt
 
I agree to take antioxidants but do not take too much Vitamin C because it will deteriorate your teeth and muscle if you drink too much. I recommend blueberries.
 
when i drink orange juice when rolling i get this intense head rush and a wave. but seemed that if i drink like 2 to 3 cups of OJ my roll length gets shorter. kinda weird.
OJ just makes me have a roll boost for like a few seconds, than back to normally rolling.
 
OJ has antioxidants, which are important.

Alkalizing your stomach increases the absorbtion rate of mdma if I'm not mistaken. I believe pepto bismol is a good way to alkalize it and help with nausea, supposedly tums can help too.

A Way to heavily alkalize fast would be baking soda mixed in water, but be warned its not that tasty. I do this mostly for the intense acid reflux I seem to get when I take enough mdma

And I saw the argument for milk here on the Bluelight forums (http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/archive/index.php/t-142442.html); although it was an older post I couldn't really disregard the info without more opinions since I didn't have too much to go off of (I am still a newbie 8)).

Orange juice is great and the vitamin C in it will help replenish your supplies and reduce the neurotoxic effects. Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice apparently helps knock out some of the enzymes that break down MDMA, so might slightly help with your roll.
