Milk of Magnesia for upset stomach?

An associate of mine is very nauseous so I offered some milk of magnesia but he wants to be reassured that it won't stop his trip (He said he took LSD).

I'm pretty sure it will though, since it's an acid neutralizer...Does anyone know for sure?

Milk of magnesia isn't very useful for stopping nausea per se, it's better for acid reflux. Something like diphenhydramine/Gravol would probably be more effective.

Either way it won't stop a trip.
