Hi guys,
I have been having chronic migraines. The drugs the doctor gave me have done little to help, except for Pizotifen which helped but caused really bad apathy and narcolepsy. I then tried taking low-dose LSD (~20mcs) which has been shown to help migraines, and other psychedelics. However, while this did seem to provide some help, both in relieving migraines and possibly in their prevention, the downside is that I've been taking them for most of the past two weeks while trying to lead a normal life. This does not seem to have been causing tolerance. I am considering what advice to take, for instance would there be any merit to taking a larger does, e.g. 150mcs LSD in hope of this leading to long-lasting migraine relief. Ketamine and cannabis also are supposed to stop migraines , although I would imagine that the best advice is generally to stay the hell away from ketamine (although this does depend upon dose and frequency).
The one thing that might possibly work without side effects is intense exercise, however I can't work out non-stop!
Any advice would be very much appreciated, as having headaches and nausea literally 24/7 any time I'm not on drugs, and to a lesser extent sometimes when I am on drugs, is, as you can imagine, becoming mildly vexing.
P.s. I am an experienced tripper, and I do have a reasonable understanding of neuroscience so don't be afraid to get technical.
Thanks.
