Heroin Mid South U.S. Heroin Discussion

I freaking agree with this. I just moved from Kensington (where it’s basically just an open air drug market) to Broward in Florida. I know that it’s probably more south Florida. But I needed to vent. I just found a brand new work I had from my last trip before I came to visit family down here and I’m so frustrated that I can’t find anything. Kratoms not really doing anything at least ten pills of it. Ik in Kensington if you can’t find someone, you just ask a person sitting on the sidewalk (normally homeless or drugged out) and often they will be relatively close to the dealer or next to them, on all corners/sidesteeets.. >snip< I know absolutely no areas like that down here, and am realizing that’s maybe not that common or it’s hard to find those areas.

Kensington style drug markets are extremely rare. Most places you’ve gotta meet people that know people and so on. Open air drug markets are slowly being stomped out by drug enforcement, the NE US being one of the last hold outs.

Hey I’m in broward county too message me please

deep south is more into pharmies and crack as far as i know. literally everybody who tries even in a halfassed fashion can seem to get a doc to write for them, or someplace to walk to in order to procure rock. of course new orleans is a different story.

Oh how things have changed.

I know a specialist defence lawyer whose entire case-load (as far as I know) is defending doctors for writing prescriptions for narcotics.

I have to wonder if the DEA honestly had no idea that the Mexican cartels would simply fill the gap with fentanyl making things much, much worse.

Pretty wild seeing all these Wilmington/NC Bluelighters lol, thought I was alone here. I was away at the time, courtesy of the department of public safety, but curious if anyone's still around? I don't do fent, take methadone and smoke the hell out of some herb tho.

my girl is one of the biggest dopeheads i know and moved down to Florida about a year ago and can't even find it
People here are weirdly naive here. Even the junkies. They are very polite about it and often just accept the shit treatment services without question. It’s a stark contrast to the New England junkies, who were loud and proud about their right to a methadone detox.

Nah they fkn knew. You'd have to be mentally handicapped not to.

Is anyone on this thread from Marion County? I lived around Belleview and Ocala during the pandemic. That place is wild man I still think about. Im from Philadelphia. I've seen an officer in uniform roll up to a dealers trailer and like get ice. You guys are talkling about the south needing an open air market. It's not the open air market you need, you need to get invoved in a rural central Florida communities. Everything will just fall into your lap.

We need "the man" to stop fucking with us. Most of us are already pretty beaten down as it is. They really aren't helping anyone. It's rough as fuck where I'm from.
