Opioids micron filtering methadone

So I have recently aquired and am loving micron filtering. However, I had a TON of methadone (syrup) left over that I wanted to make safe. The liquid that comes out of the filter is still pink.. is this ok? These are .22 micron filters.

I possibly would like to reduce it into a powder. Any ideas on doing this?
 
no....
sugar is soluble in water so it'll go straight through the micron. I WOULD NOT put that shit in my veins. You could evaporate it at like 120-160*F to reduce it to powder...
 
not much... now that is in solution, you could either match polar/ non-polar solvents to the methadone and sugar and hope they aren't both the same type or you could use fractional distillation... realistically though, you really can't do much.
 
darn I was really hoping I could find some method. I have a ton and I need to store it long term
 
freeze it. or do as you were saying and dry it out to a powder - it won't be pure enough to IV, but it will be dry and will store better.
 
whats the advice on measuring purity? I know how many mgs went in and I am not stupid enough to not know the whatever/mg equation. But how wouldI account for loss of purity? Any good methods you guys use to estimate based on mgs being put in? I understand this is a tough question but was wondering if anyone came up with a good estimation?
 
180 is where it starts degrading. Unless you have a $5000 oven, I would keep it well below that as there can be hotspots and whatnot.
 
too much work, and so little yield. methadone can have up to 90% oral BA, and then there is the point about being extremely unsafe...
 
Methadone has a very high volume of distribution, which renders it not having the type of rush as heroin or hydromorphone would when IV'd, so the advantage of IV methadone is less than that of other full agonist opiates.

Some people enjoy IV methadone, but for someone who has syrup woth sugar and other additives, I would strongly advise you just use it orally.
 
No it was from a miss of a mocron filtered pill, made sure it had no water solubles of course. No way I would shoot that methadone goop. Abcess turned out great by the way, everything looks normal now

Edit: regarding my abscess post I deleted it because the post I received made me feel like these instructions were not in the interest of harm reduction. However I was thinking after that I may put it back up so people could make that descsion themselves. Any thoughts to that?
