Micro-dosing Kratom for suppression of opoid cravings, what do YOU think?

Howdy y'all

So I went on a little opoid bender, got some Kratom to taper with and I'm having fantastic results.

The question, however, is whether or not micro-dosing Kratom after the initial taper would help regulate opoid cravings.

I've noticed when I take enough Kratom to barely get me out of W/D, I eventually fall back into W/D but I still have almost ZERO urge to go score.

*EDIT* Ok, so when I say "micro-dosing" I mean taking a significantly lower dose than one would take for recreational purposes. This will vary from person to person but I was thinking, personally, 1 or 2 doses of .5-2g per dose.

This technique could be used for maintenance or just when opioid cravings get out of control. I mean yes, it is nice to not be physically dependent on a chemical BUT I feel like I would rather have an occasional Kratom habit than the occasional dope habit (which never stays 'occasional').

Thoughts on the subject appreciated :)

I think that's going to be really really variable and subjective. Kratom doesn't help me stop craving opioids at all, though it helped me get through WD. I still want to use, really bad. Then again I was a daily user for years. But if kratom helps your cravings, then it sounds like it helps your cravings, so I'm not really sure what the question really is. Unless you're asking about long-term? I suspect it's going to vary from person to person though.

What exactly do we mean by micro-dosing? Honestly if anything I think it might increase cravings for most people. Although maybe if it has an antidepressant effect on you it could reduce cravings in that way... More info is needed about what kind of doses you are talking about I think.

Kratom worked really well for me in tablespoon doses 2-3x a day to keep the monkey off my back..But it gets messy and expensive so I just went on suboxone..

Also, I was getting worried that the gov't is going to "CRACK DOWN ON THE NEW AND HIGHLY ADDICTIVE AND DANGEROUS KRATOM TREE"

I hate being an addict..
