Bart van der Meer, AKA Bart B More, has quickly become one of the brightest new stars in the international electronic music scene. He has consistently been crafting dancefloor destroyers that have received massive support from prominent DJ’s around the world.
Bart first gained exposure as a promising newcomer to the Dutch scene. Combining his love for beat-driven, looped techno music with big room house and electro, he has been crafting a refreshingly new cross-over sound. After his first few years of spinning in Holland, he unleashed “So It Goes” and a remix of Sandy Rivera’s “Freak,” both of which gained extensive international support while being crowned Pete Tong’s Essential New Tunes.
Since then, he has added several original tracks on various labels to his arsenal, like “Romane” (Sound Pellegrino 2009), “Make Some Noise” (Secure 2009), “Don’t Stop The Music” (Secure 2010), “Finally” vs Oliver Twizt (Ultra Records 2009), and “Brap: (Boys Noize 2010), which have all climbed to high points on the Beatport charts.
Bart B More has also demonstrated a natural ability for creating incredible remixes. Examples include Chocolate Puma’s “Touch Me” (Beatport nr. 1), MC Flipside “In The Zone” (Beatport top 5) Drop The Lime’s “Sex Sax” (Beatport Top 15), Crookers feat. Kelis’ “No Security” and Ron Carroll’s “Walking Down The Street.” Besides these official remixes, Bart enjoys working with big records and giving them his own twist, resulting in successful bootlegs of Lily Allen, The Editors, Daft Punk, etc.
What makes Bart’s live sets special is his capacity for diversity, blending together a plethora of different styles and genres into his main-room sound. In the past 3 years Bart has performed at numerous shows around the world, and has amassed a rather impressive resume. A few highlights of the past year of touring include Electric Daisy Carnival - LA, Nocturnal Festival - LA, Trouble & Bass - NY & Miami, Institubes Festival - Paris, Forma T - Bruxelles, Beyond Wonderland - LA, Mad Decent - Miami, Sunrise Festival Poland, Super You & Me, Mysteryland - Holland, INOX Festival France, and RAUW -Amsterdam.
In 2008, Bart B More founded Secure Recordings, which has already released some great records from Diplo, Bassjackers, Riva Starr, Destroy Disco, and Bingo Players. More information on Secure can be found at www.secure-recordings.com .
With upcoming releases, remixes, and worldwide support from the likes of Laidback, Luke, Diplo, Crookers, Switch, A-Trak, Tiesto, and Boys Noize, we can safely say that Bart B More is not one to ignore.

'98, '99, '00 World DMC Champion/ '00 & '01 DMC Team Champion

Craze's life is a legacy of rags to riches, geek to chic, no-name to world fame. He never had it easy from fleeing battle in Nicaragua at the age of 3 to a geeky adolescence to Hurricane Andrew hitting Miami in 1992 nor did have ever have any coattails to ride; his is a story that's an uphill battle, but a story that ends right at the top. "My mom always taught me I could do anything I put my mind to. So when she asked what I wanted to do with my turntables, I told her, 'Be the best DJ in the world,'" Craze casually laughs. And that he proved 3 times at the DMC World Championships, an unprecedented record, and a title that no other solo DJ has yet to match. While Craze is regarded internationally and unquestionably as one of the best scratch DJs in the world, it's still astonishing to see his overwhelming number of titles on paper: Craze has won first place for the USA DMC Championships in 1998, World ITF Scratch Off Championships in 1998, ITF Western Hemisphere Scratch Off Championships (1998, '99), Winter Music Conference Scratch Off Champion (1996, '97, '98, '99), East Coast DMC Championships (1997), East Coast Rap Sheet Championships (1996) and Zulu National Championships (1995, '96), to name but a few. Additionally, DJ Craze claimed 2nd place in the first DMC Team Championship with his Allies' crew (which included fellow champions A-Trak and Infamous) in 1999 and then in 2000, the Allies' won the Team Championship title, taking it from the previous year's winners the Scratch Perverts.
"I won the DMC's when I was 20. I joined the Regionals, won that, Nationals, won that, and then won the Worlds. And I took it from A-Trak that's right! But he was only like 15 when I beat him. I was still scared. Then in that year, in '98 when I beat A-Trak in the [DMC] Worlds, I didn't wanna battle no more and I thought he'd be the icing on the cake, so instead we formed the Allies and we kicked everybody's butt. (laughs) Except the [Scratch] Perverts, they beat us once in the US, but then we came over here to London and we kicked their butt. So hey, payback's a bitch, Tony!"
- Craze
On top of his untouchable turntablist skills and scratch champion showmanship, the world has also recognised that Craze is a second to none club DJ he has toured the globe over, from Jamaica to Australia to Japan to Iceland to France to the country he was born, Nicaragua. All DJing aside, Craze is also a world- renowned producer, releasing wildly successful drum'n'bass records with labels such as Cartel Recordings, Breakbeat Kaos, and C.I.A and other hip hop inspired productions with the likes of DMC Records, Ninja Tune Records, OM Records and K7 Records. It's the respect from both DJs and audiences alike that has paved Craze's seamless move between hip hop and turntablism to drum'n'bass both serious subzero clique/cult scenes the globe over demanding much of any artist trying to peddle their wares worldwide; to what now sounds like club-style Miami bass, formed with the technical love of hip hop with clean cuts and ridiculously dextrous scratching, but a mix up of straight up rap, ghettotech, raw booty house, old-school electro, Baltimore/Miami bass crossover and sweaty lo-end dancefloor music, making it all but impossible to keep still. This is Craze the man who arguably defined his hometown Miami turntablism scene, only to return now to reinvent this take on the Miami sound; a neo-genre of his own special blend of every which way club codes from the ghosts of discos past, present and future.

JUSTIN MARTIN(DIRTYBIRD)-SF
As the late Oscar Wilde once said: “life is too important to be taken seriously”, an ethos that Justin Martin is sticking with despite achieving soaring success over the last six years as a producer and international DJ.
Justin initially pricked the ears of the electronic music community in 2003 with his first record ‘The Sad Piano’ on Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly label. Everyone in the electronic music food chain got involved, from the A list DJs like Derrick Carter and Pete Tong that were playing the track, to the international music press that were raving about it. It even translated to the German underground, with Poker Flat licensing it for Steve Bug’s ‘Bugnology’ compilation. Like someone that goes bowling for the first time and gets five strikes and a turkey, Justin couldn’t really have hoped for a better entrance.
Feeding off the energy of the San Francisco underground and mentored by fellow super producer Claude VonStroke, Justin was intrinsically involved with the development of dirtybird records, appearing on its first four releases. Justin was soon ready to take flight, releasing a string of solo EPs which flaunted a very unique sound and garnered still more respect among fellow DJS and heavyweight’s of the scene.
As well as his formidable arsenal of original productions, Justin is now equally known for his collaborations with his brother Christian as The Martin Brothers, producing such hip-hop influenced hits as ‘Duckface’, ‘Stoopit’, ‘Dum’. Justin has also made his mark remixing such bona fide classics as Radiohead’s ‘Nude’, Marshall Jefferson’s ‘Mushrooms’, and TG’s ‘Revox’, firmly establishing himself as the man to make big tracks even bigger.
Demand for Justin’s skills behind the decks has skyrocketed with his bookings schedule constantly crammed to capacity. With bookings confirmed everywhere from Piknic Electronik (Montreal), to Exit Festival (Belgrade) to Panorama Bar (Berlin), Justin’s diary is reading like the dreams of a professional raver. Stateside he continues to be a regular fixture at the dirtybird events in San Francisco and beyond.
Further nods to his skills as a DJ and tastemaker are apparent in his growing discography of mix compilations, most notably his own ‘Chaos Restored’ mix series on the prestigious Buzzin’ Fly label, and most recently a mix for the ‘dirtybird 5 year comp’.
Music journalists typically describe Justin’s sound as ‘melodic and tough’ with his music encapsulating both melody and emotional depth yet always with enough undeniable ass shaking properties to translate to the floor.
“I’m always trying to find music for my DJ sets that rattles sound systems, but still has enough melody and interesting texture to expand your mind even if you’re sitting at home on a snowy or rainy day.”
In 2010, production wise Justin continuously droppED new EPs on dirtybird, has a remix for Fools Gold, and a DJ mix Pete Tong’s highly respected “Essential Mix” series. He remains as enthusiastic as ever to be involved in the scene. When recently questioned by Resident Advisor on what he’d be doing if he wasn’t a DJ or dance music producer he just replied: “Wishing I was a DJ or music producer.”
By all accounts it’s hard to tell him to wipe that smile off his face.

LAZY RICH-VANCOUVER-ELECTRO HOUSE
Don’t let the name fool you as this rapidly rising electro star is far from lazy – in a little over 3 years since he first went into the studio Lazy Rich has scored more chart-topping releases than most DJ’s achieve in a lifetime. The vibrant energy found within his productions has opened his name to a diverse range of support within the electronic scene; fans of his sound include heavyweight underground players such as Armand Van Helden, Felix Da Housecat, Sander Kleinenberg and Carl Cox through to household names like Paul Oakenfold, Fedde Le Grand, Roger Sanchez and David Guetta.
A UK native now residing in Canada, Lazy Rich has gone on to scale impressive heights in a short space of time. With remixing credits under his belt for Fatboy Slim, Deadmau5, X-Press-2, Studio B and Miles Dyson, Rich has quickly found his music featuring on radio shows such as Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Kissy Sell Out on BBC Radio 1, whilst being record-checked on compilations from Ministry of Sounds ‘Clubbers Guide to Summer 2010’ and the Hed Kandi Series through to album packs like Wax:On and Big & Dirty House Sounds 2010; proving his unique ability to produce credible underground music whilst appealing to wider audiences with both his record sales and radio airplay.
With his solo productions Rich has since demonstrated his prowess as a forward thinking, cutting edge producer talent. His style of gut-wrenchingly intense, obnoxiously funky and audaciously epic house music has put countless big records in his musical arsenal already, and paved the way for him to create his own niche in the scene.
Using his rapidly rising profile, Rich has put his new found opportunities to much use launching his own imprint ‘Big Fish Recordings’. The label is a platform for developing his own sound whilst building a production family with a plethora of artists from across the globe - making the label “one to watch” for the future.
But it isn’t just his productions which have been receiving such high praise of late. Throughout Canada and America, Rich has made regular appearances for clubs from New York to Los Angeles, which has led to a solid fan base throughout North America’s club scene. Elsewhere Rich has been performing electrifying shows to capacity crowds at events throughout Asia, Australasia and Europe with shows for clubs in Ibiza, South Korea and UK.
With a slew of new production projects forthcoming along with slated remixes for Bob Sinclar, Hatiras and Adam K, as well as the demand for Rich’s DJ sets reaching fever pitch throughout the international scene with promoters in destinations such as Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico, China, Russia and Spain all vying for his name on their line ups, the future looks incredibly bright for this rapidly rising star.
