MI, Detroit - 05.23.09-05.25.09 10th annual **DEMF / Movement **

^^^Is it really that bad? I've never been to DEMF, or Michigan/Detroit for that matter. Always wanted to make it up there to see Detroit (not thats its a great city or anything) but never made it in all my years living in Indy. I remember when the show used to be free!

Prodigy on Friday night seems interesting, havent heard that name in awhile! Always wanted to see them too but that was years ago when they were younger and more popular, not sure how it would go these days, figured they would be retired by now. Defintely something to think about. Last year during memorial weekend we went to Mexico for 10 days, so this might be do-able if we dont do that again or wait for the weather to cool down later in the year.

It's not that bad, but I'm not impressed with the music that's come out in the past couple of years, so I'm not really excited about DEMF anymore.

You two should definitely go at least once. :)
 
The MUSIC is the only reason to go!

I have been out of the loop for years now (unfortunately we get older and priorities change)... BUT, I still make it to events that I recognize the dj names from back in the day and I NEVER miss DEMF.

If there is one thing I know about DEMF, its even though I won't recognize most of the names playing, I will be amazed and leave the weekend with many new people to remember and check out again when I see their names pop up on flyers.

Trust in Paxahau! They bring the heat!

Carl Cox is GREAT! I saw him for the 1st time in Minnesota when I lived there in 2001...

Can't wait to see him again!
 
I think the line up looks pretty solid thus far; im looking foward to the afterparty line ups. But the design they are working with this year... eh.
