Hey everyone, got my hands on a 70mg Vyvanse TR capsule. I use to take Methylphenidate a generic form of Ritalin and it use to wire my body all out, it was great for doing homework in school too. Kind of like going through hyperspace but your whole body feels slow. Haha!

Now for my question. I use to take around 15-20mg of Methyl. for a nice high. Lasted 4-6 hours, then it would go down. In my experience between Ritalin and even Adderall, 70 mg of Vyvanse seems to be a very high dose. How would I know what I am in fo, how much should I actually take? I don't really want to snort anymore so would parachuting it be fine or maybe putting it in a drink. I love the effects, but too much dex and I start to get tachycardia. Thanks in advance?

so.... what exactly is your question? you have experience with both drugs, and the only sentence ending in a question mark doesn't specify which substance you're talking about.

I'm not entirely sure what it is you're wanting to find out here. Vyvanse and methylphenidate may both be ADHD medication, but since you're solely interested in their recreational potential this doesn't really factor. You're already familiar with what methylphenidate and adderall feel like, so you know what stimulant highs basically entail, but at the end of the day they're all different drugs and their effect profiles vary noticeably. I'm assuming you've never taken Vyvanse before, right? All you can gauge about the vyvanse is that it will give you a stimulant high that is similar to a degree.

I haven't tried vyvanse myself, but from what I know 70mg is slightly on the high side, common recreational doses range from 40mg-80mg but I'd advice you start low and take it steady, since you won't have a specific vyvanse tolerence. Duration is longer than methylphenidate and adderall, I think it lasts about 12 hours. If you redose, you could be in for a long ride.

Actually i've tried it, and 70mg barely has any rec value, and when i tried it i didn't have any tolerance at the time. Pretty much 0 rec value, unless you convert into pure dextroamphetamine. Does the trick for ADD though.

Well, if 15-20 mg methylphenidate was good for you, I would take perhaps 30mg of the capsule today, and then you have 40 mg for tomorrow, slightly higher in case 30 mg wasn't enough.

The only thing is, Vyvanse comes powdered in a capsule (don't try to snort it, or take it any way besides orally ingesting it, because it won't work). It may be difficult to break it up into 3/7 and 4/7 of the powder inside. Personally, if I were you I would just pour out on a little piece of toilet paper what I guessed to be half of the capsule, and parachute that, saving the other half for another day.

Hope this helps.
