methylphenidate/semi-exp/good buzz
About 2 years ago when partying with fellow college students i was asked by some kid to check out all the prescription drugs he and his roommates had. They had very little in the way of abusable medication but one of them had very large amounts of methylphenidate that they had never used. There was generic Ritalin (both d & l isomers) and dexmethylphenidate (d isomer only). Unfortunately at the time I was too caught up in looking for a buzz to try both seperately and compare and contrast between the racemic and dex only version.
I would almost always use with alcohol and would use at high doses. I would regularly consume between 75 and 120 mg. I would usually take the entire dose orally, although i would occasionally use the dexmethylphenidate intranasally (they were relatively small white compressed tablets).
The buzz would come on strong within 10 to 15 minutes and was very euphoric. I found very little side effects, although the alcohol could have been masking them. The high would last a good 3 hours and stimulation would seem to wear off almost simultaneously with the high, again possibly due to alcohol use.
The combo made me very social and kept me awake when drinking in excess. For the price i was getting them at it was an excellent party drug and had far less side effects than Adderall.
