Methylphenidate/Ritalin?

Being well versed in Cannabis along with a few mdma and psychedelic experiences, I lack the proper knowledge for the following subject.

It seems that speed, cocaine, and meth are closely related, Yet I lack the proper knowledge and experience to form a sound decision. I honestly wish to not venture into the world of cocaine, but I've heard of good experiences and success of friends who've used Ritalin for improving focus for school subjects and creative applications which is something I feel could be beneficial to me as a student/artist.
Care to share? Enlighten me.

Stay away from meth. Not really what you want anyway.

Both ritalin(and amphetamines like adderall) and cocaine work by increasing dopamine and norepinephrine and stimulating metabolism. The difference is that cocaine is primarily a reuptake inhibitor which blocks the neurotransmitters going back into the cells, while amphetamine/methylphenidate works more by releasing the neurotransmitters. See what you like more. Probably easier to OD on cocaine due to the ROA, although you can insufflate powdered pills too. If you were going to do methylphenidate I'd get Concerta 54mgs and take off the casings, break off the useless greygreen propellant and crush the white drug part. Would be most efficient. You can find lots of tutorials online, it's pretty simple. I'd say in general they're more for clubs and raves like that though. Also concerta is probably the best XR steadiest evenist release over 12 hours as opposed to the biphasicish peak of adderall XRs. It really depends on your body though. Also, ADD/ADHD meds are much less illegal than coke.

Methylphenidate is not meth...

Methylphenidate gives effects very similar to cocaine for most people... I seem to remember a study where IV cocaine users could not distinguish the effects of the two when given IV... When not used IV, they still give similar effects but the duration is a lot different. Ritalin gives the very feeling on the come-up, but the come-down/ plateau stage is elongated with Ritalin, but not as horrible either, IMO...

methylphenidate is a pretty smooth high with little peripheral side effects IME. it's supposed to feel like cocaine a bit when snorted and IV especially. Focalin which is the dextro isomer(dexmethylpheidate) is a bit better as well, nicely euphoric with pretty much no peripheral side effects

i've used ritalin for enhanced focus etc and it does work to a degree, too much and it will have an adverse reaction, sitting in class with jitters and sweating your fucking ass off. i usually get 56mg concerta pills which should keep you going for a day. if you want a nice quick high and a little bit of focus & a speedy effect, snort dextroamphetamine, around 5-10mg should be a nice enough amount.
