I need opinions on methylphenidates:

1) Have you ever had Dextromethylphenidate before in pure form? Would you say that the effects are more potent than that of methylphenidate? (insufflation/oral)

2) Do you think dex-methylphenidate is a better cure for narcolepsy/ADD than methylphenidate?

Everything I've heard points to the pure isomer l-TMP as a better stimulant than the racemate. Less jitters, nicer comedown, less peripheral effects etc.

If that would entail having a stronger central stimulant action, then sure.

I think it's patient dependent whether or not it would work better for condition X or situation Y. Some people might benefit from e.g. generic formulations being availiable, or some may prefer XR formulations over IR. Still others will respond better to e.g. Xyrem or Adderall.

What I do know is that single enantiomers of methylphenidate are more centrally selective and less "rough" than racemic. They are also significantly more expensive.

dex is way better..i switched back and forth for a long time, using recreationally as well a (well in the beginning) as directed..i would go with focalin..

Methylphenidate, Im assume your talking about Concerta? But anyway I hate this shit to be honest, shitty comedown and makes me feel all jittery when Im on it. I prefer Adderall over any stim

He's referring to the single-isomer formulation dextromethylphenidate/dexmethylphenidate (Focalin is the trade name) vs the racemic regular old methylphenidate (Concerta, Ritalin).

My experiences with dexmethylphenidate are that it is smoother and less likely to give me issues with anxiety than methylphenidate is. Your mileage may vary.

I have taken Methylphenidate plenty of times (ritalin) i also have taken Focalin (dexmethylphenidate) plenty of times. to my understanding focalin is 2x potent MG wise as to ritalin, for example 20mg of ritalin = 10mg focalin. i noticed focalin is the same old high as ritalin with less of a bad comedown and jitters, anxiety/

I am on 20mg Ritalin 2x a day. I love to abuse the shit out of it. Now heres the question...Which is better to abuse dexmethylphenidate or just methylphenidate?

d-methylphenidate is definitely twice the potency, yet much smoother, it will cause dramatically less nasty side effects (paranoia, anxiety, palpitations) while being twice as potent as methylphenidate in terms of CNS effects

methylphenidate is NASTY to me, but d-methylphenidate is actually worth it in the absence of amphetamines

d-mph is great, if you like coke. it's very close to the feeling of coke, minus the intensity of the euphoria. snorting is a solid ROA, or if you're comfortable with plugging it then that is second only to shooting (which is unadvisable, as the solution will be very basic, and bad for your veins). The only issue i have with MPH is the duration of effects, as well as the comedown, which IMO makes a bad meth, coke or E comedown look like spilt milk.

Hey hey hey now, I've had bad d-mph comedowns, and yes its just like a train of nothing hitting you...
Really, you can hardly think. You're tired, and apathetic... you're blank!

But a Meth comedown at its worst... let's be serious here, d-mph can never have a comedown that bad.
IME Meth's worst comedowns from smoking or IV are the worst possible stimulant comedowns

methylphenidate generic concerta only it's maroon under coating any IV prep nfo?

anyone know about the i guess it's a generic concerta says M 36 methylphenidate, made by Mallinckrodt? pharmaceuticals. anyways they are not the "barrel" shaped ones that ive seen these are white shaped like a little bigger than a tylenol, similar shape etc. anyways under the coating it's solid color, maroon i guess. It still has the clear "film" around that like the barrel pills, which i know is part of the medicine. The difference is they are the same color throughout, not like the others with the white, yellow, brown under the coating. I actually know a friend that used to get the original (barrel's) and go through the process with 91% alcohol and I can't remember, it was way to much bs for me but he got a bottle full so he could "break them down" for IV just doing it once with many pills, otherwise i'd just take em, but these are new to me so I just wonder if anyone has any info on this particular pill, again M (with a square around it 36) and if it requires a lot of bs to go IV with it or not. I rarely ever come across these days, hoped that these would work with water and w or w/o heat and filter, like ritalin etc. thanks any help would be appreciated, just wanna be safe and know before i try to do something and ruin or waste what few I do have. thanks in advance and I understand the risk of IV use, I rarely do these days, still to much, but I'd like to try these if possible.... sure someone out there can understand that, lol. thanks in advance. if the pic works this is what I've got...

1) d-MPH was noticeably more potent than mph at relative doses. after 54mg concerta wore off i began administering d-mph by 3-5mg lines. this was a 5 dAY BINGE. EACH DAY the effects of d-mph were clear but less enjoyable in its own right. recreactionally in the common social situation, regular mph prevailed with flying colours. recreationally in the common solo situation, d-mph was far more profound in its euphoria and stimulation, sadly i couldnt feel that way in a social situation due to the intensity of the drug. heavy bruxism and over stimulation.

2) i do not support the use of these meds for adhd because i find them too damaging to the brain chemistry to be used on developing brains
