I have been diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed modified release methylphenidate (brand name Medikinet XL). I’m starting on 10mg but I’ll soon have 30 mg. I have been wondering, how do I get strong noticeable high from it, what’s the bioavailability and how do I defeat the extended release mechanism?
I’m honestly just curious of other people’s experience with getting high from it.
Google says:
“Medikinet XL consists of an immediate-release component (50% of the dose) and a modified-release component (50% of the dose). Hence Medikinet XL 10 mg yields an immediate-release dose of 5 mg and an extended-release dose of 5 mg methylphenidate hydrochloride.”
…so technically half of it is immediate release.
Also, it comes in a capsule with extended release beads and immediate release beads. Should crushing and snorting be a problem? Would the binders fuck up my nose ?
