Methylone vs. Mephedrone Megathread

^^Yeah I remember back in the day before I got into opiates waking up after a LONG night of either coke or MDMA and being tore up with no way to cope but buds. Opiate addiction is nasty but they do wonders for body aches/tightness that I get from stims.

I believe that methylone releases more dopamine than serotonin - I read it somewhere that seemed believable.

hi folks

im wondering which is better and most similar to mdma?
i know a few people who have methy and like it and would recommend it.....
with the lack of mdma will be looking in getting some... hoping its like mdma but im sure it cant be near as good as it.. if i got a dancy buzz and felt loved up on either im sure id love it!:)

I'd say neither are that similar to MDMA, though some people say the combo gets pretty close. Have a read through this thread, and check out the Megathreads link in my signature for more info on each drug :)

just wanted to add my experience on the matter! been playing around with both for a few months now, methylone is defiantly my prefered of the two, and is the most similar to mdma, gives you that euphoric feel good feeling but doesn't give you the race car like energy of md, thats where mephedrone and the combination comes in ;)

many people i know snort mephedrone but I advise ingesting both.. that harshness of it on your nose is telling you something!! ... my nights usually go something like this....

10pm - 200mg m1
12am - 150mg m1
02am - 80mg mcat
03am - 80mg mcat
04am - 100mg m1
and a key or two of mcat till 7/8/9 which is where my Moroccan friend comes out to play ;)

and i've been having amazing nights, much more social and entertaining than people bumping around all over the place on ket 8) definitely is very moorish though, not to be done every single weekend, take with care... as with everything, does get your pulse racing as with mdma and as intended, their all so chemically similar

I have to let you know about this stuff. I really is fuckin' lovely.I have just discovered it and ordered some online. I got 2g delivered this morning. After lunch decided to try it out.

1x 200mg capsule
2x VERY small lines.

Absolutely amazing hit from it. WELL RECOMENDED
 
It is damn actually. I found it didn't last very long, but I was well impressed how fucked I was off something you can order online, legally.

I'm scared shitless of what this stuff is gonna do to me though?

Read some scary stuff on here??!

Seems like ages ago when I wrote that, and yep, the combination has been tired and for me anyway is totally barkinglly fantastic =D ...the nearest thing to come close to a decent pill experience with added extras.

I've only done it a few times though and won't be doing it again - meph gives me chest pains n' makes me, well not quite feeling right, for too long afterwards.

Too high a price for me :\ Fail :|

Yes in high doses, i'm aware off that, i was thinking about taking extremele tiny doses just so that it has the same reuptake inhibition as MDMA.

But yeah i could imagin it not work tough:p.
 
I am planning on doing a methylone/mephedrone combo this weekend. It's my first time trying this combo and I am wondering about dosage.

Methylone is right for me at about 220mg, and mephedrone I have insufflated 200mg over about an hour for good effects.

Should my combo then be about 200mg of each in a bomb? Or should I assume that they will compound each other and therefore do less of each?

I know what the safe answer is here (do less of each), but I'm curious if people who have tried this combo and also tried each substance on their own can tell me what their experience is for proper dosage of the combo as compared to the individual dosages.
 
I just tried methylone for the first time about 20min ago. Did approximately 200mg, and I snorted it. I know its not recommended, but oh well. I'm enjoying it for the most part, not near as intense as mephedrone imo, but still quite enjoyable. Nice subtle euphoria, im not too overstimulated or anything. Very light eye wiggles, very little jaw clenching. I get waves of euphoria with deep breaths every now and then, very nice. Gotta say it shot my heart rate up pretty high though, luckily Im not paranoid at the moment and it seems to be fine now. Um, but yeah, overall quite nice. Definitely like mephedrone better overall, we'll see how this comedown goes, and no I dont plan on doing any more tonight. I think i've typed enough, or way too much lol. Mephedrone defintely packs more punch that m1. I think they're both best in combination with each other but I don't really want to take meph anymore.
 
I'm not a huge fan of either but must admit together they are more than the sum of their parts. Same with butylone and meph. Not sure about the B1/M1 combo but imagine it's similar too.

On the dosing, I think I used 150mg of each (bombed). Maybe 200mg of one and 150mg of the other - probably less meph cos it's the more potent of the two. Bloody huge bombs though :D
