Methylone vs. Mephedrone Megathread

I enjoy both, they complement each other nicely.
Have any of you noticed auditory hallucinations on either or both of these substances towards the tail-end of the experience or after a prolonged session? Like indistinct ambient noise from outside sometimes sounded a bit like unintelligble voices to me, as if I'd left the radio on in another room. Nothing disturbing or anything, just a misinterpretation of random sounds.

I've not had a bad comedown of mephedrone, but i have had a comedown.
After taking a whole gram over the course of about 7 hours (basically the moorishness got to me and i kept redosing so it didn't wear off) i experienced an MDMA like comedown the next day.
The severity of the comedown was a little less than i would expect if i took an equivelent amount (not necessarily the same amount) of mdma to get me that high for that length of time.
Lots of people have been saying mephedrone has no comedown. I don't find this to be the case but it is definitely quite mild compared to mdma (or mdma + amphetamines especially). If you keep the dose below 500mg total mephedrone is quite mild the next day but if you keep chasing the high and try to prolongue it then you get something closer to a clean mdma comedown.

do u not find any more physical side effects with mephedrone compared to methylone, i do find that methylone does elevate heart rate quite a bit but is mephedrone more or less. i am quite picky and i dont even know why, i am getting older i guess, i used to be excited and i have heard really good reports with mephedrone though still skeptical and i dont know why
I've had a few unpleasant comedowns the day after mephedrone, the most I've done in one day is 500mg. At first I put it down to drinking alcohol excessively at the same time, but I've had similar effects now with only having a couple of beers with it. It usually happened when I only had a few hours sleep aswell.
I'm starting to think its due to electrolyte depletion due to pissing so much, and I've noticed it has a nasty way of giving you a dry mouth despite the fact you are fully hydrated and pissing colourless urine, which only encourages you to drink more. I've got some rehydration salts sachets from boots so I'll see how I get on with a couple of them before bed.

aye, on saturday afternoon, i was at a party but it was winding down, kept thinking some1 was saying my name when they obviously werent & kept getting the feeling that something was going on just over my shoulder, then id turn round n there was no1 there. its just a case of overdoing the stimulants with fuck all sleep, mind playing tricks on u
yeh I'm pretty sure I always got the same thing with MDMA. Oh that reminds me, after being awake for 3 days on mephedrone I was getting some pretty odd OEV's, like the hairs on my arm appeared to be moving around as if they were being blown by a draft, the water in my white mug looked like it had black dust floating on the surface and when I peered closer at it it looked like it was fizzing as if it was carbonated and that kept happening every time I looked at it, bizarrely there wasnt too many other visual distortions other than in my mug! Needless to say I didn't feel great after that binge, and won't be repeating it.

Methylone treated me real bad a few nights ago... bombed 250mg and half an hour to an hour later felt like my hearts gonna explode. Comedown was unnecessarily harsh - i barely got any euphoric effects and still had to suffer badly the next morning... Something to steer well clear of in the future, at least for me...
Mephedrone on the other hand was a lot more euphoric and speedy (in a good way), redosing is both viable and effective if you dont go overboard with it. Dont get much of a comedown bar the usual food and sleep deprivation.

i kinda forgot that meph hits quite hard when snorted, as iv done it a few times now im quite used to it. i was putting out no bad sized lines, not tiny ones, but not huge either (dont wanna go killing some1) at that party on saturday morning. was giving people a brief explanation of what it was but they werent really listening tbh. you'd see there face 5 minutes later like "that shit is fucking wild" lol.
moral of the story kids - dont expect everything that looks a bit like shite coke to be like shite coke. i know a good few people that discovered this with ket lol.

I've never combined mephedrone with anything except cannabis (which was fine). I kind of know what you mean about the drymouth but without the influence of another drug that also messes with hydration (like alcohol) it was only a small effect.

haha, aye the paranoia when pissing can be mad sometimes, i always end up checking behind the shower curtain n shit coz im convinced some1s there, then have a wee chuckle to myself when i realise how fucking absurd it would be if some1 was actually hiding there

I wasn't that bad but my mates bathroom has a light which constantly flickers like a strobe (loose lightbulb or something) so you can't go in with the light on as it's instant epileptic fit / freak out (especially when having a sketchy trip) and have to leave the door open, so I honestly felt like people were walking in whilst I was pissing. Didn't help that I was struggling to remember how to piss as my mind and body weren't really connecting.

Was bursting for a shite all night too and couldn't get one due to the light problem in the bathroom, no way was I sitting in the dark or with the lighting strobing on and off and definitely wasn't taking a shite with the door wide open.
Just wanted to bump and ask a question. I just wondered if i'd experience any ill effects if combining either the methyl or meph with my current SSRI dose? It seems both drugs produce an MDMA type effect which is something I can't experience due to the SSRI. 
Am i likely to miss out again? Just wanna be careful and not run the risk of serotonin syndrome and blowing all my funds!
But then maybe these drugs are too new and no one really knows. Hmm, any ideas?
