Hey guys,
So after consuming 0.4 grams of methylone throughout the day (from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.) in 0.1 gram increments, I felt a sudden onset of extreme nausea about 20 minutes after my last dose at 10 p.m. I thought it would go away, but then my vision got blurry and I felt very dizzy and unstable. I’m assuming those symptoms are characteristic of being on the verge of fainting, but I have never fainted before so I wouldn’t know. I sat down on the curb and felt extremely hot, so I had to take off my jacket and sweater, despite it being -10 degrees Celsius outside. My hands and feet were vibrating intensely and cramping. Sitting down and drinking water alleviated everything within about 5 minutes. I was then walked home, which was thankfully very close, and felt significantly better. For the next 45 minutes I was very, very cold and nothing I did could warm me up, but otherwise felt fine and was being my normal, talkative and joking self. Once warm, I felt perfectly fine and in a great mood.
A little bit of background… I’m a small girl in her early 20s who weighs like a bit over 100 lbs. I’ve been taking 0.1 gram doses of methylone throughout the day for the past 3 weeks. There were a couple of consecutive days during which I didn’t take anything, and I felt completely fine. For both methylone and MDMA, I have never experienced a comedown at all. I was motivated to get up and get stuff done, as I usually am. Other than that, I am very healthy in regards to my diet and I exercise regularly. I take vitamins and alpha-lipoic acid (which is an antioxidant that apparently reduces the oxidative damage caused by these amphetamines), as well as 5-HTP on days when I’m not doing methylone.
SO, with all these things in mind, I have no idea what caused such a sudden and intense onset of OD-like symptoms, and how I felt better so quickly. Does anyone have similar experiences or possible explanations?
PLEASE do not comment on the excessiveness of the consumption and whatnot. I’m well aware of the physical effects of both MDMA and methylone as well as the differences between the drugs. I’m in my first year of medical school, so I do understand the neurological repercussions to a certain extent. However, methylone is a relatively new drug and there are very few research papers published on its effects, even short-term ones. From what is available, it does not deplete serotonin neutrons as much (which may explain the lack of a noticeable comedown) and its metabolism makes it less toxic than MDMA. Regardless, I only have 0.4 grams of methylone left, and am not planning on purchasing any more for at least a couple of months. SO, I'm asking for personal experiences, not judgments based on some research and the general opinion that M shouldn't be consumed more often than once a month.
tl;dr – 100-pound, female young adult has been consuming methylone in small doses for the past 3 weeks with a few several-day breaks. Felt great regardless of whether she was on or off this ketone. Minutes after her last .1 of the day, experienced a sudden onset of nausea, almost fainted, was hyperthermic and extremities felt like they were vibrating intensely. With water, she was back to her regular, talkative self within about 10 minutes. What could that have been?
