Methylone Megathread

I used to think that, yes the high is lovely but mephedrone is too addictive. All night binges on a college night are awful and much regretted on the next day.

Also, the jaw action I get on meph is awful and left me in terrible, terrible pain for days. Nearly a week on and there is still a cut on my lip, ulcers in my mouth, a dull ache and red around my mouth. It's a lot better than the agony it was though. I had to peel about 2 or 3 dead layers of skin off my lips from over-licking them.

Also after about 3 or 4 hours on mephedrone I find the high gets very psychotic. I'll develop these tics that I can't get rid of, last week I was sitting swinging in this chair, leaning forward and back and swinging my head maniacally. The time before that a few months ago I got psychosis-style hallucinations, I saw a giraffe in my room.

Mephedrone is NOT to be taken lightly in any way shape or form.
 
I think methylone is a lot better than the impure mdma thats going around.... cleaner, subtly different. if you want it closer to mdma then mis some butylone with it......
 
You are welcome to think what you like, inorbit. I think the exact opposite. M1 is okay, but feels horribly toxic to me. You should look into getting some decent MDMA cos you've clearly only had shit if you prefer methylone :D;):D

ive been taking mdma since the end of the 80's , i think its lost its magic for me however the mdma doing the rounds in my area is that dirty off wight to brown stuff. something that does strike me is thats its got a much more speedy element to original stuff of the 80's, could that be the way its manufactured ??? i dont know. m1 certainly puts me in a space thats closer to the original buzz than the current mdma does, sometimes its hard to believe the old mdma and the new mdma its the same chemical
 
Bit of both probably - the amphetamine being added to the MDMA well up the distribution chain to make it go a little further (amphetamine is a hell of a lot cheaper than MDMA if you know the right people) combined with a change in brain chemistry from repeated past use.

That said thoughm the fact that methylone still gives a good approximation to 'old MDMA' makes me think that the main factor is adding active cuts to the MDMA
 
Inorbit: I've been taking MDMA since the early 90s and the crystal around at the moment is the probably the best and cleanest I've ever had. MDMA/MDA pills would possibly be yummier, but such things seem to be long gone...

M1 is far speedier and "dirty" feeling than MD crystal for me - although I certainly wouldn't kick it out of bed, fur sure :D

Never understand the whole "losing the magic" thing with MD myself. Maybe I'm just lucky :)
 
^ With me it's more the hideous depression afterwards that makes me decide not to take it. The odd occasion (like possibly 4 times in total) I've had some in the last 7-8 years, it's always been a very similar, warm & cozy effect
 
I had the pleasure of trying out some M1 last night and I found it to be quite niceish and a little moreish. :) Have to agree with Shambles - it's dirty. Made my body temp rise a lot more than mdma does and wasn't quite "enough" if you know what I mean. No eye wiggles either and i like them.

The M1 went on top of a wee proper 150 bomb, I noticed the difference.

Bottom line - I'd buy more but only to keep for when I can't get hold of the real McCoy. :D
 
^ Know exacty what you mean, Kate - not enough indeed. Quite speedy, mildy lovey, but nothing exactly earthshattering. Would buy it, but like you, only for times when MD was thin on the ground or I just fancied a change.

I don't get the depression either - lovely and long-lasting afterglow, but no depression. Slightly stroppy for a day at absolute worst. As I said, I think I may be just lucky :)
 
As by the way :) I'm in the F&B poll - I get a day n' bit's worth of downer about 3-4 days afterwards. Every time. I know it's coming when I start having bitchy thoughts about things that would never bother me and then it swoops down and usually includes a bout tears at some point.

Fucking pain in the arse, :( but you just need to recognise it for what it is and ride it out. :|
 
I get pretty down after MD as well. Usually not the next day but the one after that or the following one. Can last 2-3 days and is pretty horrible. Feel physically run down also.
 
defonitly has not got the serious despair thoughts that mdma produces in me. I did hot really understand this until M1 made mdma more or less, take it or leave it.
OR more or less, Obselete.
M1 over mdma for me. No messing.
It's got the euphoria.

I agree totally with this post. I am confused by the lack of magic with E. M1 bridges that gap more that any e or mdma.
 
how much are people paying for m1 and mephedrone, i get mephedrone for next to nothing but m1 is double the price
 
Both about £15-20 a gram aren't they? Been a while since I looked.

Also, has anyone else snorted M1? I presume they have, but it left me feeling like I'd been repeatedly stabbed in the kidneys for days afterwards and rather put me off. Bombing (around 250mg) didn't seem to do a great deal but 200mg plugged was pleasant. Only seemed to last an hour or so though. Rather disappointed to be honest - was expecting a lot more from all the glowing reviews.

Just don't get the methylone thing really. It's better than a sharp kick to the nadgers certainly, but not something I would really buy myself. Good luck to those of you that enjoy it though - more MD left for me :D
