Would this conversion be responsible for why so many people talking about the MDMA being different these days?

Since the precursor isn't Safrole?

Unsure they have changed alot since the safrole days after the UN burnt 40-50 tons in asia. PMK > PMK glycidate now the UN have put it on a watch list this year so more are starting via BMK which makes methylone first.

Have alot more extra steps in the way leads to more room of error.

The mdma i used for years since the mid 2000's were always to my knowledge from PMK and had the magic love.
