Methylone and MDMA Question

Hey forum! You guys are the most helpful bunch around,so I come to you with a question that requires your extreme wisdom and experience. Today I bought some molly from a friend of mine and immediately tested it when I got home. It almost instantly turned a very distinctive yellow color that from my cross research I determined to be methylone. Of course I'm disappointed that I didn't get the MDMA I was looking for but I'm wondering,how close are the effects of methylone to MDMA? Should I still take the molly or just discard it? I've head that the effects are similar but I wanted to hear it from some people who have tried both. All comments appreciated I really want to know whether or not me and my friends can have an enjoyable time with this,and would prefer not to have wasted my money :/

I enjoy methylone, it's simply like a lighter shorter MDMA experience to me with no noticeable come down. I hands down, would say MDMA is a more meaningful deep experience, but I do find methylone mixes well with other drugs (weed, psychedelics, alcohol, mxe).

I don't think it's ethical to sell one drug as another, regardless of similarities. Methylone tends to require twice as much dosage to be equally enjoyable as MDMA.

I would reagent test before you buy in the future, but give methylone a go- you may really like it.
