I have never used Butylone knowingly, but I have used a good bit of Methylone. Years ago, before all the vendor busts, I used to acquire it once in a while. It was always pharmaceutical grade. 150mgs-180mgs orally was always enough. Occasionally someone insensitive may require 225mgs-250mgs possibly, but that would send me to the moon all at once.
I have had a supplier for a while now, and they have changed their suppliers and such, so the chemicals would end up different. It was usually an off white, almost apricot to white, fine powder. Then all of a sudden, I got a batch that was white crystalline (kind of dirty looking) and I've also had white crystalline "Methylone" that looked like sparkling snow. From these newer batches, doses ranged from 180mgs-300mgs and often felt more speedy.
Now, I have just checked out a new place, and I have received a fine crystalline, brownish powder, and it is not very potent. I have also noticed that it does not produce anywhere close to the level of experience that it used to. Sometimes it isn't even that euphoric at all and has more side effects. I know what pure Methylone is like, and love it. Also, some of these strange batches have no odor at all, and some have a pungent Methylone odor (for those that know the smell of it). The taste as well has varied in strength, and some batches tasted like there was some other bitter chemical, other than the unique taste of Methylone that is somewhat similar to MDMA.
Now, does anyone suspect some of these suppliers to cut their product with inert and active chemicals such as MDPV, Mephedrone, etc..? Or possibly selling Butylone as Methylone? The only other possibility is that the quality and potency has gone way down. It's a bummer. I used to get it because Ecstasy tablets were notoriously impure, and I always knew what I was getting. Anymore, I feel like this trend is becoming just as impure as street drugs.
