Methylmorphine or Dihydrocodeinone for future pain relief/effect profile?

Hello,

I am thinking of switch my medication from hydrocodone 10/325 to codeine 60/300. I was wondering if anyone can offer opinions on the specifics of the effect profile both in pain relief/euphoria and sedation as well as bothersome effects if any. I did write up a comparison of opioids I have taken in the past but it has been far too long since I have taken codeine and want to get someone's input into how it affected them and how they would rate it!

I am thinking of switching because I want to get better sleep and I seem to remember codeine being more sedating but its been so long... Due to legal reasons my doctor says hydrocodone cannot be prescribed with codeine.

So basically how would you compare the oral pain relief/euphoria and sedation of 3-Methylmorphine vs Dihydrocodeinone? Bothersome effects you experienced if any?

Thanks!
