Is there anyway I can make this drug more speedy then making me so tired....I took it this morning 5 mg's which isn't alot and I have one more 5 mg to take for the day. Does gabapentin enhance in any way?

Gabapentin is a depressant and will not enhance the speedy effects of methylphenidate.

They synergize nicely, but I wouldn't count on it to enhance the 'speedy effect'. It would probably make you more tired. Gabapentin stops adrenaline release, the stimulating neurotransmitter in methylphenidate.

Your dose is low, you may want to discuss an adjustment with your prescribing doctor.

Thanks guys...my doc is a litl edgy about prescribing me stims but, he usaully tests it out to see if it helps!
