Methyl/Ethyl and amph advice needed

so i recently accuired some "monster speed pills" (100mg amph mix) but from a ton of research i'm pretty sure they mainly consist of ethylphenidate.
me and a buddy dropped one of these about 4 hours ago now, and he felt amasing, couldn't sit still and mild euphoria.
myself on the other hand had consumed mine along with a few cups of coffee and i haven't felt a single thing.

my dilema now is that i have a bunch of 10mg ir ritalins which i have never tried before, i plan on possibly swallowing (no railing please) some in a couple of hours.

my question is, firstly a reccomended dose (i hear 30mg is good starter) and then secondly the amount of risk considering i would have ingested the aformentioned about 6 hours before.

If it's actually ethylphenidate you consumed, you're probably good but it's still best if you wait a day to let your body refuel.
