So, I first aquired this as it sounded very much like Ketamine and many people were preferring it for one reason or another. For every 1 way that this drug is like Ketamine, there are at least 2 ways it's very much differerent.

My first doses were 5-10 intranasally. Just testing the waters. It took about 5 minutes to distinguish beyond placebo. 15 minutes to know I was for sure feeling it, and 30 minutes to fully develop. Although I'd say most of the dissociation takes place between the 2nd and up to 4th hour.

At this dose I felt an increased sense of humor, noticed a sort of "candyland shimmer" around objects, slightly increased energy. No real change in thought process.

So my next dose was 35mg intranasally, in a group session. After 15 minutes or so it was decided that we might as well aim for the full effects, as we were all experienced Ketamine users and not afraid of this soft of drug. I believe I consumed another 60mg, give or take in the next 15 minutes.

The next thing I know I was on a couch in a different room and it seemed like the party was over. Was everyone sleeping? Had I fallen asleep? My vision was melting much like it would be had I just come out of a K Hole or a strong DXM trip was wearing down. I finally got up with one of my friends, somewhere in the house, who informed me he thought the stuff was pretty much bunk and not interested in trying it anymore.

I realized I had apparently overshot the mark, and probably gone into Methoxetamine's version of a hole, except I found it to be rather amnesic. I had a few fragments of odd memories of what might have happened. Nothing too terrible or embarrasing, just strange. Oh well.

So I stayed the night for safety's sake, woke up still feeling slightly dissociated, like, textures on objects were still flowing just a little. But I was not in any way tripping or psychologically confused, and easily got to work on time and performed in fine condition. Any lingering effects had worn off by noon.

So, it appears a larger dose like ~100mg will definitely "hole" you, but good luck remembering it, and it's going to have a long tail. Which is not entirely unpleasant. Sort of an afterglow but not as "pure" feeling of an afterglow as Ketamine gives me.

........

Next experiment was with just 40mg instranasally.

Similar slow onset time, as it was coming on I was laying in bed listening to music, hoping for a more controlled experiment without having to worry about other people possibly doing weird things around me (or vice versa). So I had my album on, and after about 30 minutes I felt the sort of sensation of my back muscles being massaged, something that I love the feeling of on Ketamine, tho textile hullucinations. However, with Methoxetamine, this was a less fluid and more "blocky" sensation. Still interesting. The amount of a "buzz" I'm feeling is actually much less than I would be with Ketamine, I guess because it lacks the anaesthetic qualities. It also lacks the moreish nature of Ketamine, because sniffing it just doesn't give you that instant minty gratification which quickly leads to awesomeness.

Anyway, the next thing I notice is a very lucid dream taking place before me. Are my eyes closed? No. But once I realized they weren't, the dream faded away. So I closed my eyes, the dream came back , but different. I watched that for a while and....

the next thing I know it's like an hour later and I feel as if I'd just woken up. There was a bunch of stuff I'd started doing on my computer but it's all still halfway completed and done sloppily towards the end. Feeling that dissociative afterglow again. So after that I just went to sleep. For me it's easy to sleep on this stuff, it actually seems to put my to sleep. Sleep afterwards is no problem. Lower doses I guess are slightly stimulating.

.....

Experiment 3

Okay, woken up. 60mg, one single dose, insufflated. I surely can't fall asleep now, since I'm fully refreshed and all that. Feel pretty normal from the night before, but maybe a slight lingering dissociative feeling. Less than with DXM, more than with Ketamine (which would be none).

I felt a somewhat more like Ketamine feeling creeping slowly over me this time, and with more textile sensations. Not a whole lot going on in my mind that wouldn't have been normally, feeling increasingly dreamy. Over the course of maybe half an hour.

Next thing I know it's 2 hours later and I'm awake. Feeling still 50% dissociated, so I go take a shower (walking around is no problem, not even impaired... speaking is no problem either as it barely affects my speech unless I am apparently "holed" which might also just mean "asleep" as it's hard to tell.)... after the shower I'm back to 25% normal, go chill for a minute, eat some breakfast, and decide to write this.

I feel like it has taken some experimentation to find the sweet spot with this one.

Going for the "hole" is pointless. As, at least for me, it's an amnesic hole, but it doesn't affect your motor coordination so you'll probably be moving around if you are disturbed by any external stimuli. Medium doses (20-40mg) are not really intense at all but they do give you some warm happy feelings and some pleasant dissociation. That is probably the best of what this drug has to offer.

Low doses could be used medicinally as antidepressants, as it lasts longer than Ketamine and is far less moreish. However, I suspect the antidepressant qualities of Ketamine as a bit stronger as well.

Thanks for the report mirrorlake, it's been really interesting and I can say I've had a similar sort of experience on this stuff like your second experiment.

I certaintly want to try and experiment more on this stuff on my own. The only thing I find is that I can become quite unsteady walking around on it after a fair amount of it and have to hold on to walls to keep myself upright.
