Methoxetamine and jwh-250 sent me to the hospital

Last week I had the scariest experience of my entire life that landed me in the hospital. First I should say that I have done my fair share of drugs over the past 4 years, especially psychedelics. I have experimented with a lot of research chemicals such as 2c-e, 6-apb, 4-aco-dmt, methylone, and methoxetamine. Not to mention a good 10 months of smoking jwh-018/250 (K2) multiple times a day every day.

About a month ago I had a very scary experience on 8 hits of high-quality LSD, and after I smoked some JWH-250 I was completely convinced that I was going to die and that my heart was going to stop. My hands and feet were getting numb and I had to constantly breath as fast as i could.

After that I took like a 2 week break of drugs besides weed, and then bought some methoxetamine for a friday night. I proceeded to do a reasonably big line (I have done way more than this in the past and been completely fine) At first I was okay but as the it came on stronger I started getting chest pains that got worse and worse. I was getting some of the sensations that I was getting on my last LSD experience and it really started to scare me. I eventually wore off and I was able to breath normally again, so I figured next time I would just do small lines and work my way up.

So its saturday morning and I am up at 7am because I have to work an 8-hour shift (I am a bagger/cart attendant at a grocery store) Annoyed at the fact that I am up so early on a saturday, I decide to do a small line of mxe before I go in to work. I felt really good, no chest pains or trouble breathing at all. I ended up doing at least 3 or 4 more lines throughout the course of my shift, whether it be on break or while doing carts. But on my last break, I smoked a hitter of k2 (jwh-250) and thats when it all went downhill. Instantly I got some minor chest pains, but nothing too alarming. About 45 minutes after I smoked it, it started getting really hard to breath and I was constantly out of breath. I started thinking the worst and started to get really scared again. My hands started to get numb to the point where I couldnt even put the groceries in the bag, I finished up that order and walked to the bathroom and sat down in the stall. I hoped that it would just go away and I could finish off my shift and go home, but it only got worse. My hands and feet were incredibly numb and had an intense tingly feeling in them. It was exactly what I felt on the 8 hits of acid only a lot worse. I wasnt really scared for my life until I went to feel my pulse and felt absolutely nothing. I checked on my wrist and neck and could not feel a heartbeat at all, and it was getting harder and harder to breath. Then, suddenly, the numbness would stop and thats when it felt like my heart just completely gave up. It would do this for a couple seconds at a time and then the numbness would come back. At this point I knew that my life was in danger and that I needed to go to the hospital. I walked into the managers office and he called an ambulance and I got carried out in a stretcher. When I got to the hospital I had a heart rate of 147, any slight movement that I made would send it into the danger zone. They iv'd me lorazepam and benadryl and I just slowly calmed down over the course of about 6 hours.

This experience has propelled me to stop doing all the crazy drugs and just stick to weed. But even when I smoke weed now I frequently get chest pains varying from minor to somewhat frightening. Also, when i am right on the verge of falling asleep I stop breathing and have to jump up gasping for air. This happens to me 2-5 times a night. A word of advice to everyone: If you are going to experiment with research chemicals be very careful and dont ever mix them. At first it may seem like they are harmless but after a year or so of frequent use you will start to notice health effects. I have mixed many of these research chemicals and I feel like these combos have done the most damage to my body. Such as 2c-e and mxe which I indulged in frequently, 6-apb and 2c-e, methylone and 2c-e, and of course smoking jwh-018/250 on top of it. Id say the safest out of them all would have to be 2c-e but it is still very dangerous, just don't push your luck with them and you wont end up like me.

That sounds exactly like panic attacks to me.

The fact you were only given ambien and benadryl at the hospital suggests to me you mostly needed to be calmed down rather than anything else. I've seen these kind of stories with JWH a lot of times, and in most cases it was immense anxiety and panic attacks caused by just how potent these cannabinoids are - I've had these types of freak outs before just on weed itself, and they can be terrifying! JWH has also commonly been known to elevate heart rate.

Personally I'd avoid smoking unknown blends and make my own blends or smoke pure JWH, using a milligram scale to weigh out accurate doses so that I knew how much I was taking. I think people underestimate blends a lot of the time and this can lead to bad experiences and hospitalisations like this.

Yeah well I had smoked that kind of spice before in much higher quantities and been fine, but either way im never smoking that stuff again. Im just gonna stick to good old marijuana

I used to be in acquaintance for a spice blend manufacturer around my general area and even the same "blend" with the same packaging and everything were often being used as testers of new chem blends. So unless you know that you are getting exactly the same thing every time then you might've accidentally tried a blend of a different jwh that your system did not tolerate the same and that caused you to have adverse side effects that you did not usually experience.

I'm an accomplished toker but I sometimes had borderline panic attacks when smoking on MXE. I imaging jwh-210 would be much worse. It's not as anxiety inducing as some of the other JWH's (although I've only tried it during my lost benzo weekend so ymmv). Although I pretty much stay away from synthetic cannabinoids, those branded blends are especially crap.

The chest pains you describe may just be strained chest muscles. I've been in the hospital for asthma/pneumonia a few times and I experience this. It feels like a heart attack but it's harmless and temporary.

Very sorry to hear about your hospitalization. I have admitted myself to the ER once, also with a panic attack only the effects of the panic attack actually turned into real effects (bad blood gas concentrations), something like that may very well have been what happened to you. I'm somewhat convinced myself, from what you are telling... that it is a combination of physical adverse reactions and a panic attack that reinforced each other.

I agree that JWH compounds can play a role in such experiences because cannabinoid CB1 overstimulation is a known way (just look at full agonists like JWH-018 and their propensities) to cause full on panic attacks including fearing for one's life and the psychosomatic effects to support it.
Also with a dissociative like MXE it is not strange if you cannot feel your pulse, furthermore cannabinoids have some tendency to produce tachycardia and the stimulant aspects of MXE - especially in 'synergistic' overdose of course - could do the same and propel the panic attack psychosomatic mechanisms into the overdrive of the mentioned racing heart.
I'm surprised about the ambien they gave you by the way, it must be a seriously big dose and the benadryl also seems fit to keep you in place. You wouldn't want an 'ambien walrus' episode. I would always be careful with considerably amnestic hypnotics like that to quench a trip spinning out of control.

I've noticed (and even experienced myself) that a lot of people tend to get WAY too high off of incense blends before. They aren't warm and snuggly like weed is, and instead you just get blasted into this super stoned zone, whilst slightly uncomfortable from elevated heart rate. JWH-xxx compounds seem to unleash this impending doom type of effect, in my experience. Taking a break from smoking such compounds can easily blast you away with your diminished tolerance. Also, MXE being a dissociative, you're likely to be unable to feel your pulse, because it is such a minor vibration to the fingertips, and you're under the influence of a drug that greatly hinders your body's ability to send messages to your brain. In short though, you probably shouldn't have mixed two chemicals like that while at work, because that can be a source for unnecessary anxiety on those drugs. Also, JWH compounds potentiate psychedelics/dissociatives immensely, compared to weed as well. They just really aren't chemicals worth much use if you can smoke weed (in my opinion).

No offence, but, you do MXE before work, smoke syntethic cannaboids efterday - even during work. Sounds like you have a drug problem.
I bet you have high tolerance for both drugs and therefor was using wreckless doses resulting in a panic attack, your body is trying to tell you something....
