I was taking MXE a few times a week since the UK ban (I got 10g to stock up but had a hard time staying out of it.) Also, I live on a farm in Florida where Cubensis literally grow like weeds (but unfortunately I get really emotionally weird from them.)
So last night was supposed to be the launch of the Spacex Falcon 9 rocket at 4:55am, and I thought it would be a great night to finish my tiny bit of MXE and watch it go up (it is on the other coast of FL.) I took the 40mg @ about 12:30 and laid down in the dark with my headphones on, It wasn't enough to hole but it was nice. Then after about 2.5 hours I felt it fade a little & I got the idea to pop a couple caps before the launch. 2g was just enough to feel it without getting too weird.
I put the headphones back on & laid down and as the shrooms kicked in is was a smooth come up. The CEV patterns with the MXE "depth" was a nice mix.
So at 4:50, 5min before scheduled launch I put on an online stream of it. They talked about the rocket & how this was a historic moment being the first private company (Spacex) to do a space mission. It was an unmanned mission basically bringing food & supplies to the space station. I started to get kind of excited & I thought "maybe It will blow up. Since it's unmanned It would be cool to watch & I wouldn't feel bad" and I thought it would be funny if I shot it down with my laser pointer I had been playing with. I put my shoes on & got ready to go outside to watch.
They started the countdown at T-20 seconds & the excitement started to build. "Yeah! I wanna see some fireworks!!!" I thought. ...12...11...10...9.................(stopped at 9)
Then a guy comes on & says that there was a problem detected and they won't be launching tonight. What?! I waited until 5am for this?!?!?!
It was the epitome of anticlimactic. They could have at least launched a few bottle rockets or something for a show. But nothing. I took a xanax & went to bed dissapointed, but the whole thing was a funny experience.
