Methods of Ingesting Coleus

About a week ago I tried smoking a few leaves of sun dried Coleus with very mild effects (possibly some placebo) and I still want to try to reach the full potential of this plant. has anyone here ever successfully tripped on Coleus? And if so what was your method of ingestion?

From what I've heard heat breaks down whatever is active within Coleus and the most efficient method of ingestion is either eating the leaves or making a preparation for oral consumption.

^ That's what I read too. Then there is this post on Erowid > http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=51843 < where the user experienced effects from smoking eight dried leaves.

OP - do you know what species you have? Do other species besides Coleus Blumei have psychoactive effects?

I have smoked Coleus Blumei out of a water pipe with similar effects to the guy in the erowid report that <<ellisd>> posted.
