Ok well y dealer is out of perks. but has methadone. he tells me it gets u super high and its better than perks and viks. and its a better pain killer. is this true? im scared to take it because i know its used for heroin withdrawals. it will only be a one time thing for me. hes selling me 5 for 10 dollas 10 mg. im cool with him thats why. but does this stuf have heroin. is it worse than perks or viks? do u get eorphia? thanks.

Surprisingly, your drug dealer is a liar.

1. no, it does not contain heroin, haha. although, I'm sure a lot of us here wish it did.
2. no, it is not a "better" painkiller than percs (Percs are oxycodone. Oxycodone is the drug inside the pills named "percs")
3. no, it does not give you better euphoria than percs. In fact, I've never gotten euphoria from methadone. It takes away your withdrawal though!

Question: How many Miligrams of percs do you use on a daily basis? You need to know this.
5. Go to Google, and enter in the amount of mg of percs you use daily, followed by "how much methadone do I need?" SO, if you use 30mg of percs daily, I want you to go to google and type in "I take 30mg of percocet daily, how much methadone should I take?"

Alternatively, you can type into google "I take 30mg of oxycodone daily, how much methadone do I need?" OK? I hope this helps. I don't recommend you take a full methadone pill. Try 1 quarter of the pill first. You will not be satisfied, but you won't be sick, either. See if he will just sell you one pill. Honestly, thats probably your best bet. Methadone is prescribed to pill abusers and heroin abusers to get them off of their addiction to opiates, and onto the methadone, which takes away withdrawal symptoms and does NOT give you an addictive and crave-able high. This is what Methadone is. So your douchbag dealer may have been lying to you, if he said that you will get SUPERDUPER MAJOR HIGH from it. You wont. Also, BE~CAREFUL! Methadone is EASY to overdose on if you are new to it, because people take it until they feel a "high" and by then, you have ruined your liver. One of my best friends died from an accidental methadone overdose. So BE~CAREFUL! Please!! I don't want to facilitate an overdose, or misinformation. I'm not saying methadone isn't for you, but if your looking for a high, it isn't great. If you can hold out until pills are available, hold out man.

One last thing that I need you to answer for me: Did you really think that there was the slightest possibility that methadone contained heroin?

i actualy dont take perks everyday, only like 1 ever two weeks. i just wanted to try methadone. i heard u get withdrawals after 24 hours of the first use, is this true?

and how many of the 10 mg should i take

No, uhh.. I am thinking that you would not experience much withdrawal at all if you are only using the methadone once. I don't recommend you use the methadone since you don't need methadone to keep your withdrawal of other opiates away. Methadone is sort of a "last resort" pill for people that are physically addicted to true opiates. Methadone won't truly get you high. It might lift your mood and give you that sickly/high type of feeling, but I don't think it will make you feel good. If you are only using pills to get high, then please be careful and never use more than once in a great while man. (Just trying to help you be safe) I don't recommend you buy the methadone, your basically getting ripped off. Methadone isn't really for getting high. As I've said a few times now, its for taking away your withdrawal symptoms from overuse/abuse of opiates. If you are VERY curious, then I suggest you try 1/4th of the 10mg pill, and just pop it under your tongue instead of blowing it up your nose. I don't think you'll need anything more than 1/4th to 1/2 of a 10mg pill. You may feel sick after taking the 1/4th of the pill. Fair warning, and my last warning... I really, truly, believe that you should just hold out until you can get a perc. You wont be satisfied with the methadone. And do NOT try to take more because you aren't feeling high. NOT TRUE. Methadone has a LONG ASS HALFLIFE, 24 hours to be exact. You ask yes, but what the heck does THAT mean? It means that 24 hours after you take the 'done 50% of the shit is left in your system. 24 hours later, 25%. And so on.

I started my love affair with opioids taking methadone. The high was insane - euphoric as HELL. Subtle, but DEFINITELY of value for recreational use. And just an FYI, I would strongly advise you not to take any benzos if you are not specifically methadone tolerant. A whole lot of people took a nap when mixing the two; a dirt nap. It would be be very irresponsible of me to suggest a dose, so I won't. For me, with no habit, I took about 10 mgs. and gradually upped it to 15 then 20.

WARNING: TAKE STOOL SOFTENERS OR YOU WILL HAVE TO DO SOMETHING UNPLEASANT when it comes time to go booboo.

WARNING: METHADONE PEAKS AT 3 TO 4 HOURS, SO DO NOT DESPAIR IF YOU FEEL NOTHING 15 MINUTES AFTER YOU TAKE IT. This has been a fatal error on the part of neophyte methadone users. GIVE THE SHIT TIME TO WORK!!!!!!!!

5 (10mg) Methadone tabs for 10 beans is an awesome price. Since you do percs & vics once in a while, I recommend splitting the Methadone tabs in half & taking 5mgs your 1st time. Methadone is strong & it actually is a great med for pain. It lasts forever also..........dont keep taking it every day tho, you dont want to get hooked on Methadone.

I suggest you take it every now & then to get through some rough patches once you're out of the regular meds. Also, Methadone will raise your tolerance as well...........

I haven't logged in to post in ages but I feel this deserves a response.

Seriously advocating to someone who takes 1 Perc or Vik(Sic) as he calls them once every couple weeks to even try methadone is IMHO not HR.

Perhaps pointing out that for someone with no tolerance which by the OP's dosing pattern & amounts would indicate the LD50 of Methadone is 50mg.
People have dropped from lower doses than that but everyone has a different physiology & that is to be expected.

Personally I'd advocate that someone without a decent opiate tolerance not fuck with methadone at all.
It's not as euphoric as other opiods, has a long half-life, high potency & slow come up.
Often leading to people re-dosing before it hits them & OD'ing or dosing multiple days in a row not factoring in the build up.

Not trying to be preachy as I have extensive experience with opiods myself but methadone for low or non tolerant individuals is just asking for a disaster.

Also would like to point out to the OP if you insist on dosing methadone with your current tolerance levels please don't
mix any other CNS depressants with said methadone or re-dose without factoring in time to onset & half-life.

Everything is a personal choice but I feel that you should at least be aware of the risks & potential interactions involved.

I hope everybody has made things nice and clear for you. Methadone is dangerous to use recreationally - More dangerous than most other potent opiates. Rumour has it isn't particularly euphoric, and the long half life causes a lot of ODs when people take another opioid even the next morning. Methadone is designed to counter w/ds first and foremost.
