I'm from South Africa, and here (cat) is currently the best known drug.

Can you compare it with anything there ? Or is it still early stages ?

At first I thought it was same as Mephedrone, but I think I might be mistaken.

Mephedrone is 4-methylmethcathinone, "cat" is a slang term and could be used to refer to any number of drugs. 4-methylmethcathinone and methcathinone are not the same drug. They're similar, but not the same.
