(methamphetamine) Relatively New to Meth- Is This Normal?

So, I tried crystal meth for the first time about 2 weeks ago, and in the meantime have had stuff from 3 different batches, all of which seemed to be pretty good quality: a little cloudy, big jagged chunks, any striations all going the same direction, and with positive effect- immediate and pleasurable energy, talkativeness, loss of appetite, etc. Negative side effects were minimal; I was/am a little more distractable on it, but not so much more so than usual that anybody has or would notice, and I ramble(d) a lot. Had some pretty miserable nausea (is that normal, too, by the way?). Overall, good experiences. Now, what I'm wondering about are the other effects- not necessarily good nor bad, but to me, they seem very unusual.
Basically, instead of making me horny, it either has no effect on libido or else is actually inhibitory. Almost every time, the idea of sex is just as ridiculous as the idea of eating. Also, while it does make me more enthusiastic and in general more energetic, it doesn't make me aggressive or irritable at all, in fact, quite the opposite; I'm usually less quick to anger, less anxious, less likely to feel overwhelmed, less likely to take something personally and MUCH more patient, which is saying something, because I am naturally a very tightly wound, impatient and short-fused individual (even before I ever tried meth or any other stimulant or any other type of drug for that matter, so I'm not just jonesing or something). It also just makes me outright nice; I'm usually a more cynical and critical person. Too, even though I feel energetic, I never have a problem sleeping.

What's up with that? Is all that regular?

It's not really that unusual...what you described has been largely my experience as well.

Do you have ADHD, by any chance?

You aren't the first to ask me that in relation to this, actually, but no, I'm definitely not ADHD. I've never been diagnosed, nor have I ever exhibited symptoms that would make me suspect so.

Yeah it's not unusual. With regards to your comments about being more patient, less irritable etc:

Keep in mind you are taking a euphoria and pleasure-inducing drug. Although it is a stimulant, it still produces pleasure in the brain and therefore it's not a stretch to figure it could make someone more patient and less irritable while high. But the high isn't all day and unless you go chasing it eventually you will start to comedown & that is when lots of people do a 180 and gets irritable etc.

I experienced many of the same reactions my first few times with meth and other stimulants. As your brain adjusts however, things will usually change or normalize. Not always large changes, sometimes subtle, but it won't be like this forever. That is when you start becoming extremely irritable when you run out a.k.a withdrawals. I wouldn't use this as an excuse to go get addicted to meth though, it's not going to cure your life's problems. Cheers! :D

I was just like this on meth. Except horny as hell. It sounds pretty cut to me. crappy meth would calm me down... but was kinda blah.
good meth is a rollercoaster and your penis is a passenger-no question. So I question the cut.

Back to the ADHD-also likely I think. But I don't know, I took the test 4 years ago and never get around to getting the results...
