Methamphetamine made from ephedrine compared to pseudo-ephedrine.

Most people who use methamphetamine or have heard of it probably don`t even know what it is made of. In truth, all it is is a plant-derivative, not that much different from the liquid nicotine that e-cigarettes utilize, extracted from the tobacco plant and converted from a solid to a liquid using the science of chemistry.

Although it does more than just change states of matter, chemistry makes it so ephedrine or pseudo-ephedrine work better and in different ways by mixing it with things like red phosphorous + iodine, then having its state of matter liquified by mixing and boiling it, then possibly turned into crystals by bubbling it with gas.

The main ingredient, however, is either ephedrine or pseudo-ephedrine. Ephedrine is the psychoactive part of the plant ephedra, much like nicotine is the psychoactive part of tobacco. Pseudo-ephedrine, however, comes from yeast. Ephedra was and still is regarded as a sacred plant, especially by Buddhist monks who use(d) to help them meditate, as it allows hyper-focusing and reduces the need for external stimulation or movement, perfect for a meditating monk, partying tourist, or studying college student.

So the real question is... has anyone ever compared samples of say two grams of quality methamphetamine, one whose main ingredient is pseudo-ephedrine, the others who is ephedrine? I personally believe based on my own experiences and estimates that ephedrine-made meth is much rarer, and far more spiritual, whereas pseudo-ephedrine crafted meth is the common standard, which has more of a pure stimulating effect like a cup of coffee, instead of altering consciousness profoundly.

My theory is that yeast is just basic energy, whereas the plant ephedra, is like the tobacco or cannabis plant, it is a sacred plant used since time immemorial.

Any thoughts, I know not everyone here is spiritual, but I am interested in responses nonetheless.

Should these two chemicals even both be called methamphetamine, or should we say like methamphetamine-e1 and methamphetamine-pe2?
