Methamphetamine "Glowing Skin"??

Personally, when I do meth, my face gets some sort of glow to it (my skin gets dry, not oily)

and it actually gets ridiculously smooth...!? (And my acne disappears)

Is there anyone out there who's experienced something similar or can shed some light on this?
 
Maybe this is being caused by some drug interaction. Are you on any prescribed drugs? What other "illicit drugs" do you do?

I've never experienced this and I don't know of anyone that has (especially the dry skin, disappearing acne, etc). Usually it's the other way around - your body temperature increases, you sweat profusely, and pimples may or may not pop up. I usually will find pimples on my face after being up for 2-3 days and it gets worse the longer I stay up doing meth and not eating anything.
 
Well, this is very weird
Just meth, seems like the fact it dries the skin clears my face...
 
^ it could very well be your perception is altered because of the drugs.

Maybe try taking a photo when sober and when on meth, then compare them when you're not on any drugs.

Your reaction is very strange. Normally stimulants (methamphetamine being a prime example) cause increases in skin oil levels and that can lead to more acne.
 
The same thing happens to me, and yes, I've taken pictures. It's weird, but not just your perception. I like to think it means maybe that there's something odd about my body chemistry that alleviates some of meth's side effects...but I'm probably just grasping at straws there. lol.
 
Yep my gf has commented that my skin is glowing when I'm tweaking, another friend of mine gets the worst shab scabs on his face after just 30 hours awake

Ive done before & after pics, I'm not delusional at all.

I do react a bit oddly to the high itself aswell, though.

Smoked methamphetamine gets me very relaxed, PARANOIA IS RELIEVED, profound anxiolysis, and I've never experienced this "jaw grinding" effect either
I do get a stimulant high, don't get me wrong, but I'm just at the same time very relaxed and chill when smoking it. I don't get uncontrollable needs to be up and moving constantly either. Yeah, weird.

anyone else feel that way?

I get like that. My jaw doesnt grind and Im chill and relaxed after smoking it too. It really makes whatever it is that Im doing VERY interesting lol. My skin gets oily though.
 
^ i agree with the altered perception.. when i use to use and im experienced with the shit it makes your pores so nasty.. you have a slick look about you and if you use enought your knees and elbows become red.. plus i FUCKING HATE THE SMELL OF ETHER, and to me after a day everything smells like it.. its horrible ill take 5 or 6 showers a day.. i quit for multiple reasons and dont look back but a major one is the oily skin and the smell.. and dont suggest cuts cuz i only fucked with 100
