Stupid question I guess, unless you're sharp ;=P
Let's say one had a bag of their old prescription percocet bottles, they could easily just:
- fill one of the empties like 1/4th with water,
- swish it around into the next container, getting all the dust
- finish off by evaporating over pyrex plate
((( I guess pure oxy would be a better example, ignore binders/apap/etc; also, for obvious reasons one would likely do a 2nd wash before evap to get the bottle-tops and residue mixed on the 1st run.
SOOOooooo,
what if one had the SAME dilemma, but it was methadone, which is lipophilic? (extra hardness, NO alcohols can be used. Mention if they're what's needed, but you, errr, you *win*
if it's not water) Oh, also the idea of doing such a process by pouring some kind of veg oil from one to the other, for obvious practical reasons, wouldn't really work, too much loss.
This is just purely imaginative, I do not suggest anyone go looking in their attic for empty pill bottles, as your result (from oxy, hydroco, etc would be extremely hard to determine, even after an evap it's still pretty tough to gauge out)
Again, not advocating/doing anything, merely curious - always talk of CWE's and all, and realized some may be in a position to recycle, and I'm all about material efficiencies, so I'd hate the idea of some kid out there just tossing a trashbag-full of un-"cleaned" bottles into the trash w/o knowing they may've been able to get something out of it with minimal effort. And again, not advocating illegality and MUST mention once more that this would result in powdered opiates, virtually unmeasurable unless you had extremely sensitive (like to 0.001mg I'd imagine, someone please edit/modify that or comment if that seems too innaccurate a level of scale) scales available to you.
This is merely for curiousity and the benefit of everyone's knowledge. Be safe ya'll %)
OH- just to make this a little more informative: what about benzo's? Would one just do the "water trick" with valium, clonazepam, alprazolam, etc/any un-capped/sealed benzo's, obviously not on US-style "restoril" or anything :{)
mod note: please use the edit button to add extra thoughts to your post instead of posting again.
